Edit* I don’t identify Eren’s folks as heros lol. At the beginning of the Series, we didn’t knownall this information. So they truly were Victims up until rrrriiiiiggght about now. I simply have not released the attachment to the main characters and thier plight. So I’m just riding alongside them till the end. Fortunately by now. I have actually felt symphathy for Rheiner and Bertholdt who i hated before.

Most of the people there were eldeins because there were in there settlements so he basically kill more of his people, but his our hero. To answer some of y'all questions the reason they went to war in the first episode because the enemy nation knew that Marley lost the Colossal Titan and the Female Titan since they knew that they decided to go to war because they thought they can win so Marley didn't start the war and the King only took a few of his people left everyone who was still on Marley to suffer Marley like to claim there so great but all they do is use Eldians as meat shelds and claim victory when they didn't do anything

Well Marley has been on terrorizing other nations with their Titans and expanding without cause on other nations. That is why all other nations hate them and are afraid of them (eldian titans). Tybur in that speech of lies&truth gas lighted hatred for Marley towards people of Paradis like it was their fault (it isn't).

Eren and Reiner are having their conversation at the same time Willy is announcing Eren as the new "enemy of the world." So Willy made a choice to declare war on Eren before he has a chance to mobilize the Wall Titans, and now Eren's forced to kill Willy and destroy this world alliance before they can mobilize against Paradis Island. There was a moment where Eren hesitates before Willy makes his announcement, and then afterwards now Willy is an "enemy", and so he must move forwards and eliminate him. Eren is the same as Reiner; he's crossing the sea to save his world.
