Here are all the relevant groups involved with the parasite incident: 1) Colonel, Lina/Sirius (USNA): interested in getting rid of evidence that USNA is tied to the parasite incident, hence they are in Japan to eliminate the USNA host of the parasite body, rather than seal/capture the parasites. 2) 3rd Division counter-intelligence (Saegusa): interested in capturing the parasites for experimentation to strengthen their own clan. Warned off by Tatsuya via Mayumi. Lost the captured parasites as destroyed by Lina. 3) Kudou Retsu/Fujibayashi (Kudou): interested in capturing the parasites for experimentation to strengthen their own clan. 4) Kuroba Ayako (Yotsuba): interested in preventing the other clans from gaining power and also of course capturing the parasite for their own gains as well. 5) Tatsuya/Erika: Erika wants revenge for Leo as she sees the attack against Chiba clan as Leo is her student. Tatsuya wants to seal them and prevent further humans from getting possessed and dying to the parasites. 6) Sage (Raymond Sage Clark): helping Tatsuya/Lina, with the goal of getting rid of the parasites and quelling the anti-magician movement. Also, no Erika was clearly losing to Lina before Tatsuya came. Erika is badass and quite strong, but not strategic class. It's easy to underestimate Lina because we saw her get bodied a few times, but that is supposed to show you just how strong Tatsuya and Miyuki are, rather than how weak Lina is. Also, keep in mind that Lina did not use Parade against Miyuki. The only counter we know for Parade is gram dispersion, which as far as we know, only Tatsuya is capable of using. So it's possible that she could've won if she used Parade against Miyuki. Also, although she did act super rashly this episode, gotta understand that it's not like she saw the Shiba siblings as her friends. In fact, they were more often on the opposite sides as far as her duty goes. Like Tatsuya said, Lina has never had the choice to disobey the army, so to her, it's hard to take what he says as simple good will.

i know its late but no they didnt kiss and the secret lina was keeping wasnt their relationship it was that miyuki used a crazy strong lunar magic spell shes not supposed to know
