I dont care how evil he comes off as Rosawall is still my favorite character. If you think about it he's preparing subaru for times in life when you cant save everyone, where you have to make a choice. Yeah Rosawall is insane but he fully admits that he is. So far in these two season's Subaru has been a little B****. He has never tried to get stronger to protect those he holds dear to him. Even when he had a bada** swordsmen trying to teach him.. he didnt even try to learn anything he just pretended to. Although this meeting with the witches gave me a little bit of hope that he might pull his head out of his a**...

Lol worst opinion I’ve seen. Imagine thinking a normal human with a damaged gate can stronger? Willhelm in s1 clarified, he doesn’t have to get stronger, he needs to be strong. A normal human can only do so much even if he trains. Re zero is a story of Subaru over coming the impossible. He’s trying his best to make plays but this is a near impossible situation to overcome. Yet - subaru will somehow still come out on top. That’s peak re zero. If you have issues with him that’s too bad for you because this is how it’s written.

2021-07-24 23:55:54 I think Subaru knows Rem likes him and accepted that, his point there was with very low mentality state that he can't trust other people to like him or just won't believe that. Why do you think Rem's words have always been a very powerful driving force for him to pull himself together. - Director said it well, Subaru has been going at this mission impossible alone. He needs to tell people the mansion is going to be attacked and he needs to ally with the Sanctuary people to help him save the mansion. So his first job is to release the Sanctuary so he can save everybody at the mansion + village. - Roswaal is really interesting character. Now that we know he has lived for 400 years, that might mean he was involved somehow when Satella was sealed. The story went something like Hero, Sage & Dragon sealed the witch of Envy 400 years ago. So how was he involved in that, my own guess is he might have been originally the Sage in that story as it's said he is the greatest mage in the kingdom. - Episode 18 from season 1. So many people always just fully focus only 100% to what Rem is saying and not trying to listen to what Subaru was saying or even understand his mental state when that situation happened and he wanted to just run away with Rem. - Otto being spy is high possibility. Remember he has that blessing of animals or something like that where he can listen to and understand what animals say. That power is so amazing for spy work, send a bird to a tree to listen and learn from it what was said without even being close by. He even learned from the animals where Subaru was kept when Garfield took Subaru hostage. - Subaru needs to learn to use his brain more. That has been the biggest problem for him and his trust issues, you would have thought he learned from that White Whale alliance that when he opens up and gets allies shit get done.

Wow empathy level for our boy Subaru zero. What would even if he had spend some random days to learn sword fighting helped against PUCK killing him, against Elsa killing him, against endless wave of rabbits coming to eat him...well you can have your hatred for Subaru, but maybe some more logic to reasons why you hate him so much. What this show is trying to tell is that Subaru needs to get stronger in using his brain and have GOD like psychological fortitude that no normal human in reality would ever be able to have. 99.99% of humans would have already went totally insane if they had to deal the shit this fictional character is going through.

Yes i have seen every episode twice once on the day they release and the second is here. i enjoy the show just not a fan of the main character.. He has had time to improve on his skills its not like he gets thru one thing and then two minuets later something else is happens there is plenty of time in-between . I'm not saying he gonna master them but a basic understanding of stuff can save your life from time to time. Instead of crying about how useless he is, But apparently i know nothing and my opinion is sh** .. oh well such is life

Otto can talk to insects and animals, he has his own information network, so of course he knows where Subaru is at. (They mentioned it in season 1)

you do realize his body doesnt grow with rbd? only his mental state does. aka even if he elarns something his body wont physically know it. his muscles wont know it. there's no way he could have improved

so apparently (i think this was explained more in the light novels) echidna would EVENTUALLY help subaru to the best possible outcome, but first she would exaust every OTHER outcome first on purpose. Shes greedy for a reason. So subaru would die countless times first before she'd let him get to the right outcome. thats why all the other witches stepped in because they knew what she was like, and what she would do.
