You are now where all of us anime watchers are. I heard that in LN that bunny death was even more gruesome, just think of the bunnies going inside his body through a hole and eating him inside while being eaten outside...that broke his mentality totally. Anime didn't give enough seconds for that to sink in for anime viewer before they moved him to "tea party". Last episode "Friend gained". This episode "Psychiatrist gained". This episode was so amazing, as amazing as episode 4 was this season. PS. You guys should check Monty Python Holy Grail killer bunny joke.

Echidna already talked about the Sloth Witch Factor during the first tea party. She explained that when he killed Petelgeuse, the Factor chose him as its new dwelling. And if Petelgeuse had one, it's safe to assume that the others Archbishop host the others Witch Factors, meaning right now he only has the Sloth one.

I actually agree, that death....needed some more time....You mentioned that it broke him...The pacing almost made it seem like he's more accustomed to those gruesome deaths other than Greed having to give him the Tea to calm him down a bit...

Well Subaru even himself says that it's very creepy being that calm from bashing his head to rock floor and going mentally unstable.

About the first tea party, I think Subaru was just worried about Emilia and wanted to go back to her. He just realized his RBD can't save everyone (Rem) an episode before.

From what I've heard after coming back from his death being eaten by rabbits from inside and outside in the light novel Subaru was actually having a seizure on the floor before he went to the "tea party" because the pain of experiencing all of it actually broke him mentally, it was changed into him slamming his head into the floor for the anime. That's why Echidna says that his soul was in danger and the tea he drank was keeping him calm I think that's also why he asked Echidna to let him remember her this time because he realizes that if he goes back without the calming effects of the tea he'll end up losing it.

Yeah actually you could still be right about that the tea might only work in that room too I hadn't considered it. I don't even know if Subaru himself is being transported there or just his mind? Since it looks like while doing the trials your body stays in the trial room who knows if the tea room works the same way.

yeah the tea only works in that room that's why he asked if he could bring its effects outside and into the real world. so he wouldn't break down when he leaves again and he can be calm.

I only wonder...will they get conection between Re:Zero rabbit death, and Overlord roaches torture, cuz these 2 are basicly the same in the Novels...just Re:Zero, the anime censured it less. Just different animals, and in Overlord there is endless loop with some healing magic.
