I have to admit even watching my own Reaction, I've never been so drained emotionally and involved in the story.  When Rem popped up normally I'm much more hype, but this story is tragic and EPIC, anways. Hope you enjoy us keeping it real, I did ask Nasty to chill, I think in the previous reaction or this lol.

rough question but really curious, i know you really enjoy both, but which do you like better out of what you've seen of Overlord and Re Zero? Personally Re Zero is tied with Shield hero for my favorite isekai(Transported to another world, time, parallel world or whatever)

Shield Hero coming too btw. But I enjoy Overlord more because it brings more positive emotions but Rezero is stressful. I’m glued to the story. That being said. Rezero has had less episodes that “drag”. Overlord season 2 and 3 dragged the first 2 episodes of each. And a few in between to add context. Rezero maintains high intensity.

Overlord also gave me character to identify with as Favorites. Rezero. I don’t really have favorites. Just watching this story. I do like Rem, Raswal (creep) though lol

about the fake madness i think betelgeuse speack about when your in big stress and think that can destroy your mind and your brain create a fake madness for protect you from all that stuff its a real think in our world (sorry for my english i am french )

oh boy... here we go... Subaru can't be honest about his being selfish. He has very little self-awareness (and soon no awareness...) People are a mess of contradicitons, however, is the stress of those that we need help with. Subaru is like a gambler that's too far in debt and can't not double down. What you describe sounds like many various shows... I mean, that bow (from cultists) is creepy in a few ways. Something interesting I've seen. You seem to focus on the people, miss a number of other things that aren't people. Why would they bow? Subaru ALWAYS has the scent of the witch on him. He can make it worse by... hmm... summoning? the witch, like he did with the Rem vs puppy set, but he always has that smell. He's blessed by the witch directly. not the longest pre-react set, but hey, i enjoy it. (then you go on for another couple min) I would say he is getting punished (and possibly well beyond justice), but is by life, not Return by Death. While he may think he is at fault or the cause of this, neither is true. We learned the cult tends to go after any half-elf. And Ros-chi was out... and wish I knew where he was. being Subaru is hell... The curse, isn't a curse in the magical sense, but damn if RbD isn't a curse in the other sense. Only thing possibly worse, is being literally unable to forget something. Yea, that line... You stole my sister's horn, stole my reason to live, now you come to steal my reason to die, too? It sheds quite a bit of light on Rem. Props to Petelgeuse's VA. damn if he aint creepy af. He's not talking about Subaru's love to Emilia. But, the witch's "love" (her scent/miasma) that hangs upon Subaru. I don't think she played dead. I just don't think Petelgeuse cared. and, honestly, if he just killed her (instead of playing twister) i probably wouldn't dislike him so much. [However, after listening to you, I can see the logic in that] You've heard that voice twice in this episode that the Beast used. Hey look, its snowing now~ Also, the long credits on this as the Beast stares on as snow piles on Subaru's head... is something else. kinda needed it so i could see the after-credit scene. The witch has an appearance of a half-elf. huh. the head gets fully covered. didn't see that first time. When RbD comes around, smell gets worse. This series, reminds me of evangelion from like last episode to this one. interesting discussion after. can't wait for next episode's reaction... for reasons...

Is shield hero after Re Zero? Yeah I see big time where your coming from. I tend to lean to like shows that hit the feels more when done well even if its stressful because i feel so invested. Season 2 the first 3 episodes really brought that season down for me, was not interested in the lizard people at all.

agree, subaru insanity was from just trying to shield himself, but the shield broke when he seen rem get killed by this nutso.

Subaru in a sense wasn't crazy where Betelgeuse was asking him why he is faking. Subaru was in full mental shock/trauma condition, when you are hit by too hard mental shock you shut down. That is what happened to him. Yeah episode 15 is pure agony, but one of the best episodes of this season and I just love that ending song credit scene with one of my favorite sad song.
