Overlord has one of the best narrative build ups. Season 1: How does Ainz react to the new world. Season 2: How does the world react to the Ainz, even if the dude himself is not present. And this keeps on going. Just the their presence has influence on everything and everyone. This will become even more obvious during the 3rd season. Pay attention to how people change after encountering one from Nazarick. Best example in this episode is Climb. I love you comment of how he "leveled up". I randomly started tearing up when Climb was told that Brain will be fine to accompany Sebas but he might die, did this guy not say Looking the other way because of some trouble, would prove that he is not a man worthy of his shorty. Dope, this season has been so good at engrossing us in the lower side character's stories
