How did you miss the HUGE after credits scene after Ep 7? lol

The titans should look familiar. They were signature titans featured during the Trost battle in Season 1. The titan that ate Major Gross was the one that almost killed Sasha and Conny in the Supply Room. You also saw the "Santa" titan that ate Eren.

Zeke (Beast Titan) is Eren's half brother. It puts that dialogue he said about being brainwashed and coming back to rescue Eren into greater context. Grisha and Dina put the burden of restoring the entire Eldian empire on a child, one that was raised under Marley's version of history. Hence the brainwashing comment by Zeke.

Also answered in this episode, only Eldians can become Pure Titans by being injected with Titan Spinal Fluid. Reiner, Annie, Bertholdt, Marcel were Eldians who became Honorary Marleyeans. Becoming vessels for the Power of the Titans. Their mission was to retrieve the Founding Titan for Marley before the Eldians did.

Ymir's flashback episode in Season 2, Episode 10. Historia's Ymir was named by an Eldian cult that worshiped the original Founder Ymir. The place was raided by Marley military forces. The place she was sent to Paradise should look familiar.
