There's a less censored version of the box that puts little cartoon faces on each of them lmaooo

I have to say I'm way more interested in the 2nd couple. The novelist is to cute and adorable 🥰😍.

I don't think the chairman is right in his argument with the CEO btw, being treated well by your company as a worker is, and should be, a right.

I understand people love the second couple (I do too) but the main couple are too sweet, they're perfect.

I agree with what you wrote. There is a point to the CEO made though. The point we extracted is, if you give a particular benefit to an employee for doing their job, that now becomes the expectation. We agree the logic is true. Doesnt mean we think that is right. But that is a logical management statement that is true. True and unfortunate. Here is an example. Sometimes I release a video early in the morning. Now there is people that think i am late if i post in the evening lol. The schedule says clearly that I have any time before 11:59 PM. But it doesn’t matter if I give a few early uploads that becomes the expectation. That’s what the CEO is saying basically. That being said I should do early uploads it’s good for the people. It’s just that if I do that I have to be prepared to try and do it every single day and be ready for people to be disappointed if they don’t get it

I don't think I'm disagreeing with you overall, but there's a different level of responsibility that comes from being an employer vs. a person providing a service in exchange for money. We, as consumers, are free to expect whatever we want and to not even read your policies and create our own expectations of what we want. And we can stop paying you if you don't provide what we want. An employee has a huge reliance on their employer since their income depends on their employment (and vice versa, on a larger scale). In the context of the show I think the line was there to show that the chairman is a different kind of person/employer than his son. His son has a sense of responsibility and fairness, his father only thinks about what he can get from other people. That's why the CEO is a better man than his father.

The CEO is indeed a better man than his father. His father is a good businessman though.

Really enjoying your reactions to this show! Finally I'm caught up. Since you've mentioned it, I don't actually know much about The Penthouse: War in Life, but I do know one fun fact - the ML from No Gain No Love and the writer sister are actually playing twins in Penthouse. Need to check it out one day myself.

Mai Muaj Xiong

Hi. The thing with the CEO running with the writer was that she doesn't know that he is the CEO either.

What’s interesting is they kept mentioning “penthouse” almost like they are paying homage to another drama the actors/actresses played in. Actor for Jiuk (fake husband) and actress for adopted sister who’s the writer both played in a kdrama called “The penthouse” as twins. So it’s come full circle that somehow in this show they play brother & sister in-laws.
