From the intro your comments about why you like antagonists are completely valid. Weird how some people just can't seem to differentiate between fiction and reality when it comes to disliking/liking fictional characters. They can't even recognize and appreciate the effort the author put in to making their antagonists entertaining or memorable

I hope I'm not the only one fucking livid at Greed for taking Emilia. This dude needs to die in the worst way. I can only hope that Subaru gains the power to enforce his will. Also, maybe Subaru is going to steal the Pride Witch Factor from Typhon's corpse and turn things around? He was called "Pride's Archbishop" by Betelgeuse in Season 1. It's interesting because he doesn't seem to have any connection to her, apart from his prideful personality. Maybe he'll be much more powerful with this Witch Factor compared to Sloth's because his vessel is more compatible?

Something to note. Gluttony keeps using pronouns like "we" and "us". He also gives a name in this episode than the name in episode 3.

It seems like Typhon’s ability, based on what we saw at the Witch's Tea Party, is related to structural or molecular integrity. If I remember correctly, whatever she touched would be destroyed—kind of like the antagonist from My Hero Academia. Maybe Pride's power is the ability to destroy everything around it? It’s also interesting how the songstress was singing about having "nothing—no future, no money—but it's okay because all I have is my pride." Perhaps the reason Typhon can’t be removed is due to the nature of her power, which might be holding the city together structurally. Given what we saw at the Witch’s Tea Party, that would make sense. So, maybe Subaru will gain a power similar to Shigaraki’s.

Well...TO BE FAIR, Greed didn't do anything to her...and he DOES intend to marry her, so like if we ignore for a moment he is litteraly witch cult archbishop, AND she is nr 78 or so he don't look as that bad of a guy...aslo creepy look, but come on, don't be lookists, the nicest people sometimes look wierd xD #DefendingTheVillainsToTheVeryEnd!

It's such a cool idea that our boy Subaru uses whip as his weapon. Not many MC's using whip in any anime and I can't even remember any of them using it.

What do you mean he's not Pride? The Archbishops aren't their respective vices either. Do you know why Betelgeuse said he was Pride? IMO Subaru still embodies the traits of Pride from a psychological standpoint. If you recall his backstory in Season 2, you can see how he struggled with feelings of inadequacy and inferiority, particularly when comparing himself to his father and peers. He excelled in elementary school, but once he entered a "bigger pond," he realized there were "bigger fish," which triggered an identity crisis. That experience of feeling lesser stuck with him and fueled his later need for recognition and validation. This is where insecure or vulnerable narcissism (which I see as Pride) comes in. Subaru’s deep need to be seen as a hero, combined with his bouts of self-loathing and sensitivity, fits this pattern perfectly. He struggles with self-worth but projects strength and confidence to mask those insecurities. This is the essence of insecure pride - his need for admiration masks his feelings of inadequacy, and his constant drive to prove himself, especially through his prideful determination to overcome challenges, points to a deeper connection with the Pride vice. So, even without the title, his actions reflect the psychological essence of Pride.

Your deff not wrong. But I think after Season 2, Subaru has started to lose that sense of pride of wanting to be validated by everyone but people like Rem because as you said' Subaru has identity crisis. Subaru even says himself he has no "character" (zero speech) which IMO means no identity to have. I think Rem hero to Subaru is an identity he can latch onto to prevent himself from having to face being independent with an independent identity.
