I still can't get over what a blessing it is to get this as remake in 2024. On top of that we get to see Lee & Director's first time reaction to the series. We in for a good time.

The video and audio are a bit out of sync on the anime, the audio is like half a second ahead

the mangaka is without a doubt goated, her humor still holds up if the gateway to older shows opens up you guys should definitely watch the OG perv classic, Golden Boy. art style is old but has the old school animation quality. only 6 episodes

I grew up on these anime and I don’t even like going back sometimes to look at them. It’s like looking at old CG. The perspective changes as you get exposed to newer better animation. However some old school special effects from movies still hold.

I’ve had my eyes on Golden boy for a while for all the pervy reasons. Just never reacted to it because I don’t have confidence in his performance online

true that, a few channels have gotten some decent views for doing it, so there is some niche audience out there that enjoys fresh reactions on OG classics. but yea its definitely hard to tell how it would do.

Golden Boy anime is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! ESPECIALLY THE ENGLISH DUB!!! I know a lot of people don't like dubs but Golden Boy dub is one of the best and really elevates the comedy sooooooo much!!! Really, highly recommended great fun! AND inspirational too! Makes me wanna study! hahaha As for upcoming classic animes being remade, I can't wait for YAIBA remake to come as well! Animated now by WIT Studio (Attack on Titan, Spy X Family, etc) One of my favorites as well, with cool sword powers and fights. Also created by the creator of Detective Conan (also, Magic Knight Rayearth is being remade as well but I dunno the studio yet ^_^ I wish Yuyu Hakusho gets remade as well... )

wow, ep3's animation was really smooth all throughout, especially the fight scenes. I mean, if you check the movements, you'll notice it. The animators really did great in this remake. I hope they get through the whole story. Another thing, albeit unrelated to Ranma but more about remakes, upcoming YAIBA remake's animation staff (in WIT Studio) has awesome people in it! The one that animated the battle in the "dream" in One Punch Man S1 Ep1 will be the chief animation director for Yaiba, and that alone made me a lot more excited than I already was!
