If you watched Ais's anime (Sword Oratoria), you guys would definitely remember more about the Black Dragon, the hero Albert, and the importance of Spirits in the world of Danmachi. The author revealed a lot of details there that he didn't have time to fit into Bell's story.

Yeah, I'm fine with monogamy in most conventional stories, but if you're going to write what's essentially a harem series, just go all the way at that point and make it a genuine harem instead of having us invested in all of these characters that we know don't have a chance.

If you want more on the spirits, you should check out Sword Oratoria which is a side series of Danmachi and is cannon that follows Aiz. Its only 1 season so far but still worth the watch

Even with Bell's braindead understanding I am not touching a mystery trap, as she given no explanation to anything yet. Hopefully next episode give us some answers as this was just pure slice of life episode.

Lee did you guys ever watch the danmachi movie? I am 99% sure it was canon and they addressed the black ancient dragon stuff in that movie itself. The dragon plot line has actually been a thing for the series for quite a while but its been pushed into the background. I don't ever remember you guys actually doing the movie reaction for it even though it was talked about a long time ago on the patreon.
