I already miss my girl!!!!!!!! I'm interested to see if Chaco'll get Himiko's quirk after this, with her levels of empathy I imagine she'll be able to use it differently if not more effectively. Just to be clear I didn't actually expect y'all to cry, this was just the first time I came close to tearing up since 86 so I expected a little bit more emotion out of y'all, but ya' didn't even bat an eye at my girl's sacrifice you heartless freaks! lol

I can't give you the intended reasoning, but I can give you the headcannon of: Eri was in minor control, thus was slowly accelerating her power, So Deku just had to jury himself to outpace it. However, there is no one controlling the serum AFO used. So it's more like a runaway effect, AFO takes significant damage, The serum scales up to that damage, and does not wind back down. TL;DR: The serum progresses faster than Eri
