Man, season 3 is about to have so much drama. We have Aqua living life now, Akane who's so close but is sidetracked now that she's with Aqua, and Ruby who knows what Aqua was ORIGINALLY trying to do but isn't anymore. Like Director said, I think it's only a matter of time before Ruby notices Aqua isn't really doing anything in that direction anymore and the situation blows up in everyone's face. I took the ending as the woman being another one of those entertainers that has the "star factor" that he probably slept with (and then killed) like Ai. The brother-in-law a few episodes ago was talking about how their father was probably sleeping with a bunch of entertainers and producing a bunch of talented children, and I think the ending would fit that theme. Gonna have to wait and see now though.

My interpretation of the final scene was Aqua and Akane acting in whatever Aqua was writing there near the end "The 15-year Lie". I assume it's a somewhat autobiographical story, or derived from his story. He has Akane as Ai filling his role falling down the cliff, so he's modified it in some way.

Something I realized this episode is if Aqua and Ruby's father was middle-school aged when he got Ai pregnant and their half-brother is 3 years older than them that means when this mfer banged their half-brother's mom he was barely starting middle-school, so basically as an 11-12 year old boy he banged a 20 something y/o famous actress lol.

Closer to 15, but yeah. Either way, middle school also lasts longer in Japan than in America so it has a slightly different connotation

Did anyone notice in the vid how when the girls are dancing in the studio Ruby has her normal starry eyes and then later in all the outdoor outfit stuff they were thedark stars cause that was all filmed after she found sensei's body. 🤔 Also love the in depth discussion at the end about the Goddesses words cause Director right. Yes, I was 16 when she had the twins so she most likely got knocked up when she was 15. That is considered 3rd year middle school oing into first year high school in Japan. Weird I know but if the university age kid knocked her up it kind of makes more sense by his age when we see him...maybe.🤔

I know I'm late on this reaction, but the scene where Lee is questioning the college and middle schooler, it may have be easier to look at the images of the guys again from left to right. The little girl mentions the college guy first and then the middle schooler second. It may a typical American thing but looking at it from left to right made it very clear to me. Again, I know it's late as hell but it was around the 30 minute mark in the discussion.
