Hey everyone! Just wanted to update you on why the schedule's been a bit off this week. I've been adding new shows, and folks were asking about specific ones. I didn’t answer right away because I was still figuring it out myself—posted that I was working on it, and, well, I was working on it, haha! Honestly, I didn’t know either because I was calling audibles while deciding on these new shows.
To add to that, I had some computer issues, which made it harder to record as much as I wanted. That definitely impacted things too.
I was still deciding: "Am I doing Agatha?" "When does Vox come out, Wednesday or Thursday?" You know, stuff like that. The schedule already has a disclaimer about new shows, so I highlighted that in green to keep things clear.
Every three months, we go through this cycle, haha. I try to juggle 5-8 shows at once, even when I’m really only prepared for 5-6. Before finalizing the schedule, I always check your feedback, and this time, I saw a lot of buzz around Uzumaki and Penguin. Confirmed they’re popular, so I added them.
Now, I know y'all are aware I pre-record content, but there’s a difference between having it recorded and getting it edited. When I sit down to edit, I prioritize the stuff that’s coming out now.
Sometimes I start off with extra content, but as the month goes on, I end up dipping into my reserves. For example, when I posted "Niches," I was weeks ahead. But by the time the final episodes aired, they were only getting posted days after being recorded.
Pre-recording doesn’t mean I can just drop everything at once. Sometimes I go two to three weeks without recording anything, and y’all don’t even notice because i tap into whats already prerecorded and I sprinkle the content in as needed.
Instead of waiting for a new season to start, we pick up shows like Reincarnated as a Sword and The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic so you’re still getting content regularly. When I update the schedule with new shows, I shuffle around content to fill any gaps.
I know that can be frustrating, and I totally understand. I’m just explaining how things work behind the scenes. I don’t expect everyone to like it or agree with it, but I do what I can to keep the channel running smoothly. Honestly, I don’t know of any other group channel that posts as many videos as we do, even on holidays!
The reason I can keep content going all year is because of the way I manage everything. If I take a day off, no worries, there’s still enough content to keep everyone entertained.
I get it—most people don’t care about the business side of things. You just want the shows as soon as possible, and if I were in your shoes, I’d feel the same! Some of y’all have more time on your hands, so you're speeding through shows faster, haha.
But in order to promise you a large variety of content 52 weeks a year, I’ve got to manage things carefully.
