  • A couple of things… this show won the poll. So if you don't like the show, we don't need to read about you not liking it or being disappointed with the lead or the ending. OMG... people yearn to complain about things. I should make a weekly post for people to go and complain together.

  • Second, we just started this week, and I LOVE IT. For comparison, just so you know, I like DOTS, and I LOVE THIS. Folks kept saying this was going to be a cringe show or that the humor is cringe. LOL... not to me. I find it hilarious, and it’s the best work I've seen from the homie Park, I must say. "Fight for My Way" and this show demonstrate more of his range than "Itaewon." He's the same, but not really LOL. So anyways, I really can't trust the feedback of the loud minority, because people just complain. But so far, so good... ZERO cringe. Although I understand why you might think it's cringe, I think it's funny... we all here do.

Glad you're enjoying it so far! The show is pretty hilarious and I love the main couple for sure. Now that I think about it, I probably enjoy the first few episodes the least, so it's great that you're already loving it :) Overall, I do like this show more than DOTS, both are pretty good, though.

Regarding the end discussion: I haven't seen this show before but given what we see in this episode, no way he would set up proper boundaries for her now. He'll still be calling her whenever he wants and asking her to come to him no matter what else she has going on. He just strikes me as a line-stepper.

I'm so glad you guys like this one. I feel bad that it seems Secretary Kim carried her family for 9 years, the unnies better be doctors after all that time and she should not need a plan for a while they should carry her for a bit. Dude just love himself too much but you can tell it bothers him that she wants to leave. Even him asking his parents if they ever had any problems in their marriage they were so fake with their answer. Love your reaction can not wait for the next one.

i knew you'd like this one. it's right up your alley as well. i prefer this one over dots. the writing is a bit more clever, and while the characters aren't original, i don't think the leads are written as bland as they are in dots.

One thing you’ll learn is kdrama stans love to complain in general, so now that there’s more kdrama reactors, there’s an increase in complaints in comments as well when their fav show doesn’t win… like I get it bc personally I don’t like DOTS, or even some of the other kdramas you’ve watched but I’m not gonna sit on here and be negative just bc of that lol… like they’re popular so they’re gonna win. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Y’all also might like them too, people tend to forget that different opinions exist and just bc they don’t like something doesn’t mean the drama is bad and that others won’t like it and vice versa with dramas they do like… ppl also need to understand how annoying those negative comments can be Also, just a tip to those not happy with what shows win polls just be happy it’s being reacted to now so that it’s done and over with lol… it’s one step closer to your drama winning… that’s what I do with multiple reactors… bc I already know popular show like goblin and strong woman will win gotta get through them lol Thanks for the reactions btw ☺️

I started a few episodes on my own for the first time years ago and I didn’t have the attention span at that time in my life to finish it, but I know I’m gonna have so much fun watching it with you guys. Currently visiting fam in my hometown in FL. Been away for 2 weeks and I have sooo much to catch up on, but couldn’t wait to start secretary kim tonight lol DOTS is another I’m giving another shot because of y’all. regarding the scene towards the beginning-ish where they're talking about her not eating/the dress: she meant that she didnt eat anything because she wanted to fit into the red dress she had to wear later on that day, during the party

Yeah, secretary Kim really did carry her family for so long. I understand regular debts like student loans but her dad adding on to the debts by being stupid is just another layer. I can’t imagine working for that long to pay for EVERYONES debts AND getting them through school, the resentment would be at an all time high.

btw, the girl you recognized as the new secretary is the chaebol assistant from fight for my way that was trying to be a home wrecker lol. I actually forgot. another note that is more of a translator note, the reason why she accidentally wrote Secretary Kim instead of Kim Mi So, is because the word for Secretary in Korean is Bi So. so...Kim Bi So is what she is called at work...it's basically like her sense of erasure and loss of self when she was embarrassed that she literally lost herself in her work by bringing her work home.

another note, I always said I knew Lee personally would like this show for all the reasons I find it cringe and even said that despite my protests, it is his taste cause he likes cringe male antics lol i never finished it on my own cause it felt too trope-y, office rom/com, and could NOT stand PSJ here but I do understand why it's popular. I'm willing to give it another chance watching alongside them since it'll prob be more enjoyable watching someone else enjoy it.
