it was actually foreshadowed in a past episode that Sol can say some information without time stopping under two major conditions that one it's vague and if it's not vague then two it already happened or is currently happening. that foreshadowing was when Sol told Taesung that her house is on fire to get him to give her a ride. time didn't stop then even though it's not vague because it's true, if you look back on the episode we see that the fire is currently starting before Sol even said those words to Taesung. If the fire hasn't started yet when Sol tells this to Taesung then by the rules, time would stop. In this episode Sol was able to sing sudden shower because it already exists, Sunjae already had the melody and lyrics written. She was also able to tell all those information to the cops because the serial killer's shed already has all those evidences of past crime even before she was first kidnapped, it's not a future occurance. But it would be different if she tries to tell the cops that the serial killer will finish his sentence in 15 years and kill Sunjae for revenge, time would stop then since it happens in the future.

I am concerned that in all her trying to save him she keeps forgetting about her family, It would be better to work with him instead of wasting all that energy running away.

To add some context to the situation with Sol and that upper classman - during their freshman retreat, it's sometimes like a hazing ritual where the freshmen are forced by the older students to do embarrassing things or drink a lot and they can't refuse because of the expectation that you should listen to those who are older than you. They kept it pretty light in this show so it's not super clear in this case, but it can get bad depending on the personality of the upper classman and how mean they want to be.

"Unni" in the literal sense does mean older sister. So when you're talking about familial relationships, a woman would call her older sister "Unni." It can also be used to refer to an older woman (by a few years) if they're close to them. Sometimes "Unni" can be used for a complete stranger as almost a compliment or a way to flatter someone since it implies that they're younger in age. On the flip side, "Ahjumma" is used to refer to a middle-aged woman (mid 30s plus). In normal cases where a person doesn't know what to call that older woman, it's usually fine to address them as "Ahjumma," but if used in the wrong context, calling someone "Ahjumma" can be taken as an insult. Similar to Tae Sung calling Sol "Noona", that's usually used by men for their older sister or women that they're close to. Him calling her that implies that he realizes it's the older mature Sol that he's dealing with.

Last thing to add, I totally understand people being frustrated with Sol and pointing out the flaws with her decisions, because they're completely valid. What I absolutely did not like was certain people just bashing on her and being mean towards her without trying to see where she's coming from. I think this was a comment from a previous episode, but she does only have moments to digest what's happening and make a decision on what she wants to do to try and save Sun Jae. It's not like she has all the facts laid out in front of her like the audience. She doesn't even fully grasp how big Sun Jae's feelings are for her. And I completely love the thought that she's so selfless when it comes to Sun Jae that it's actually hurting her and possibly creating this bad situation that could have been avoided if she had just been a bit more selfish.

strange& sleepless

The rules on what she can and can't say aren't very well established. It seem like as long as she isn't explaining very specific events, she can vaguely talk about things i.e. to taesung, ''your fate was to waste your life away'' it's about the future but it's vague enough. and the song already exists so she can sing it even if she shouldn't be able to know it yet. Right now sol isn't even considering any other possible options. Remember, she was originally (for over 10 years) only a fan watching him from a far never even imagining being anything more than that. And i think in her mind, if that is all she gets to be again as long as that means he'll live, that's fine with her. Being associated with her kills him, so it's a no brainer to her that that must mean they shouldn't be together. They were never meant to be together, she was only meant to be a fan in the first place type of thing.

strange& sleepless

One thing I do think they could have done better with this show is explain their motivations and thought processes more clearly. I've seen a lot of people get confused by sol's actions. There's a lot we don't actively see her putting together, a lot is unsaid and we have to piece together that that's what happened and that's the conclusion she came to ourselves. I think we would have been left with a lot less frustration had they explained her perspective better and not just showed her constantly running and hiding from him like an idiot right after confessing and kissing him last episode.

she could say all the things she said to the cops because it is not future information but past and present information: the kidnapping happened in 2008, so in the past frok 2009-peespective. his name occupation and location of evidence is also all past and present information, not future. She can basically say anything as long as it diesn't give detailed information of future events, so even if she could say she's from the future she wouldn't be able to proof it because it is future information.

Such a throwback that they used Gee by Girls Generation as the song they played as the punishment for the drinking game ❤️. Loved that song, perfect for the time period too, which was also around the same time I was in college when that song was hype
