I like how the writers showed us that aegon and rhaenyra both have that viserys weakness in them. They are both selfish and get real emotional and just tossed their greatest asset in the same episode

I wouldn’t call Vicerys selfish though. Vicerys was literally being undermined. But yes. His children behaved the same and Dameon had undermined Rhanerya. So i think she was actually being reasonable in her temper. But she is too deep in this to turn on Dameon

There is only one Queen on the green side and that is Heleana. Alicient is Dowager Queen. So Crispy shouldn't have been "guarding" her at all. That is why he is a freaking failure! But somehow he keeps getting promoted lol

I would have been loyal to Emma last season with this look hahaha. I also liked the acting. The Actor portrayed their emotions well. Overall better performance in this episode when arguing with Dameon

Hear me out. Cole is a hypocrite. He broke his oath and wanted Rhanerya to marry him. Now he's broke his oath again with Alicient but you don't see him asking her to marry him. He don't keep that same kind of energy. He's just a petty bitter dude now.

@1:15:40 Yeah, this is what book readers were complaining about last season. Viserys and Alicent have 3 kids not 2 but they never mentioned Daeron last season for some weird reason. He's the youngest and is a squire to the Hightowers in oldtown. He's Jace's age and he's a lot of people's favorite "green."

Fire episode and reaction🔥 . I really enjoyed the intro and outro discussions and deep dives about Otto, Criston Cole, and Alicent. 1:21:13 I really appreciate Lee and the crew analyzing Alicent (& Otto), her circumstances, and her decisions. I really liked the fight between Rhaenyra and Daemon. 1:26:06 I think Otto was right that the realm wouldn't accept Rhaenyra but he didn't try to convince anyone to accept her either. I also believe that their would have been a civil war regardless. I believe in 1st season Otto suggested Rhaenyra to marry Aegon but Viserys dismissed it.

This episode(particularly the twin fiasco) was a great reminder that there is no tv tropes in Game of Thrones. Game of thrones was really good at subverting expectations so I'm expecting the same for HOTD. Aegon/Rhaenyra could die the next episode and the show will go on, that's the beauty of not having a protagonist. Also Lee, just support who you want to be support, the fandom is kinda batsh*t crazy anyways. Last week the team black supporters were celebrating Daemon's 🔪 action (countless tweets with over 100k likes laughing at a baby).

Bro daemon best character he NEVER shows emotion and he got emotional when his queen, niece, wife said she can’t trust him and doesn’t know what he is. When In reality he never actually betrayed his family in the past he always wanted them to be united and strong he didn’t like the snakes on his brothers counsel and wanted to be hand and next to his brother.. my nigga left and had a family was gone for years and he didn’t even want to come home only because his wife died… and he was gonna save her if he could bc he didn’t want to go thru what his brother did….he is the most complex character in the show and the writer’s favorite
