Crash Landing on You was the 1st K-Drama I watched and still remains my favorite. I loved that it was a romance of two competent adults instead of the trope of projecting silly flighty women in their 30’s with teenage like behavior is off putting to me. Their chemistry was beautiful and seeing that they are one of the top couples in South Korea in real life is lovely. Great acting and they both delivered outstanding performances as well as the supporting cast. Love the teams that surrounded Captain Ri and women from North Korea that befriended Se-Ri. Son Ye-Jin is so expressive and she can bring laughter as well as being one of the prettiest criers. Hyun Bin is the perfect image of a masculine male lead with doing so much with his eyes and smile. Great reaction!

Special place in my heart for this one. My first Kdrama that I discovered in the most random way - I was bored during lockdown and watched a documentary on North Korea. Go on Netflix and synopsis of this show talks about a woman accidentally ending up in North Korea. I fell in love with the aesthetics and the emotions Korean shows bring. It’s weird but endearing.
