Watched and rewatched this quite a bit; it is one of my favorites. Anyway, starting this episode, bits and pieces of the queen start to push forward. 1. Suddenly the protagonists thoughts are now in her voice VS the chef's. 2. Her memories start coming back and are triggered by the things she sees and smells in her natal home. Eg., the smell of her favorite books. 3. Her feelings start coming more to the fore, leading to the chef beating her back because he is afraid that she fully returns, the chef has nowhere to go right now because his real body is stuck in a coma. The Kims tortured the consort's maid to flip on her in one of the previous episodes, and then killed her when she was leaving the palace. I think that point got confused because the Jo family tried to convince that other maid to take the fall for consort Jo by threatening her little sister.

Yeah well the story is interesting. She brings it to another level. Many people could have been swapped out and youd get the same show. But not her. She doesnt even need sophisticated dialogue. She just needed to her magic and it was great

BTW, starting when the doctors line up, 1:03:31, you have two songs playing at once. The Bong Wan song that usually plays when chef is up to something and the original song for this sequence. Not a deal breaker but figured you'd want to know

The end reveal was meant to be symbolic. His being extremely pale is akin to being "HIDDEN" in the dark/no sun for so long. His revealing himself in the sun/light means he is about to move differently and all of his actions will purposely be visible. Soo many little hidden innuendos in this show.
