First...you no better than us if you skip end discussions lmao

Normally i would have waited to release this but i see people want a bit more anime in the rotation. I didn't remember Demon Slayer when i added this to the schedule. So i have this as 1 slot a week for the time being. Before folks get upset, thats why i prefer to wait until i'm ready to release something so you get 2 a week no pressure.
We have only seen 2 episodes and it's currently hasn't moved us to want to binge yet, we will let it cook. I'm also launching the Bear trying to meet an June 27th Season 3, and The Bear is generally something we can already watch back to back episodes with hype.

So this is technically an early release.
For perspective I was done with Toradora months ago (which is why the mixtakes took long to fix. i had to go into archives whenever i found i made a mistake)

First 2 episodes folks was spoiling Ami's plot point so i generally prefer to record a bit first cuz folks over explain and spoil everything..

In this case, it may be beneficial to release as we react, cuz this show is a bit more complex lol. I will say the ending of episode 2 is VERY PROMISING. So we shall see.

Finally, I made a patreon when I saw this was on the schedule. Don't worry you will love this soon enough. Every episode will get juicier.

Windragon6

Yup, it's very linearly structured so every episode gets progressively better. But we should let them taste it for themselves xD.

20:43 Vanitas clarifies that he got the name and book passed down to him, from his master (who could be presumed to be the ‘actual’ vampire known as Vanitas, and either retired or expired). That was what came right before him admitting to being human. . This Vanitas does claim it was a reverse operation, so it’s possible the book did do curses “at first,” and he’s using it to fix them. The negative effect was “if” one of the vampires born under a crimson moon took a hold of it, though Vanitas himself not even being a vampire negates it being because of him. . Also, like, he /was/ knocked out by the brick to the head, that was why he fell out of the opening at all. Him not being concussed is another story, and yeah, probably an ‘enhanced’ human by one way or another.

Ash

Ayy we got episode one! I'll take one episode over no episodes lmao. Appreciate the early release but it maybe better to do like you did with Toradora. Can't trust folks. Looking forward to the next reaction though :)

I haven't even seen this but for the sake of Shadoe I think you should discard demon slayer and add this in its place. I think shadoe would find that to be the best decision in these circumstances.

Anthony Nguyen

Thanks for starting Vanitas!

Anthony Stone

Wow people really will go into these comments and over explain everything. I see what they're talking about now jeez

Daisuke_Takahiro

I feel bad that some people got to get the unsyched version but it was perfect for me. Glad you guys picked this one up though. It was not my first choice of course but still a banger of an anime to go with.🧐 I don't think anyone pointed it out either but although I know Hanae-san from many animes, you will know him from voicing your boy Tanjiro from Kimitsu no Yaiba. Noe is voiced by Ishikawa-san who also does Naofumi Tate no Yuusha, Kagayama from Haikyuu, and Sakuta from Bunny Senpai just to name a few! if you also didn't know he Hanea-san has also won the 9th, 11th, 14th, and 17th Seiyuu Award for Best Actor, Influencer for his YT channel, New comer, and Personality! Can you tell I like this guy?😁

Nonkin

Over… dude, I don’t know any more than they do, I’m just pointing out contradictions they slid in. Do I have to announce that every time I say shit?

Lord Precht

LFG!!!! It’s not Bungou like I wanted but at least something I can rock with now since that toradora nonsense has finally ended. I forgot how fire the Destiny Waltz ost is when Vanitas first pulled up! It starts a little slow but picks up quick enough.

Anthony Stone

mhmm sure. Don't worry next time I'll just try to ignore your comment so I don't feel like I'm ruining my experience

Nonkin

You’re the one souring the vibes here, dude. Coulda started with ignoring me instead of being pithy.

Anthony Stone

Sorry it was just funny reading his comment in the description about how he was worried about starting series like these weekly because people like to hint / over explain things then I go to the comments and see you over explaining. I just had to comment for the mere irony of it all 🤣

Kevon, The Lord of Slimes

I do adore this series so much for all the d.grayman vibes it has. And I think the heaven's feel composer is also on this series. Its been a while since I've seen it all and am still desperately hoping for more of it. So this allows me to vicariously get more lol. Thank you

Nonkin

Again, not hinting shit, and only even going into what the /anime has already revealed/. But, far be it from me to explain to you what I’m doing, you’ve made up your mind already that I’m being “sneaky” or whatever, instead of just engaging with the content. How dare I, right?

Hiiro Pendragon

Vanitas is really a masterpiece series just like Pandora Hearts (hope we have a remake someday soon)

Vann K.

Yup episode 3-4 is where I know these 3will wanna starting bingeing

Vann K.

The plot isn't like bungo of course being vampires, but the comedy, animation, and characters feel the same, like Vanitas reminds me of Dazai. Plus the bromance.

Thamor

This show is good, just really slow couple of first episodes, but when the ball starts rolling you get invested very well in to this show with it's story and foolishness too =)

Casper Ghost

Honestly as much as I love Vanitas its not suited to week by week watching; it really needs to be watched in batches at some points otherwise the emotionality of it just gets lost. If you don't have the time to really enjoy it then I think pushing it back a bit and watching something like Bungo Stray Dogs or The Ancient Magus' Bride would be a better fit for now and they're both fantastic; I'm actually surprised y'all haven't covered those two already.
