I can’t lie 💀 I don’t think I’ve been this scared for what’s ahead in an anime. I feel like I can’t sense the direction this anime is going to take and honestly his decision to go makes me think shit is going to be badddd later. Especially cause he’s going against what the person who got him through everything said.

Some light novel information they don’t have in this episode that is really important for context and will most likely never be brought up again is when he learned the news of sylphie being pregnant and Aisha roughly saying “no naughty stuff” is because in their world it’s believed miscarriages will happen if u do the deed when their a baby in the tummy

Take into consideration if Rudy didn’t listen to the man god the first time he wouldn’t have been cured he wouldn’t have met sylphie he would have stayed depressed and more then likely would have died. I see this option to go as something is going to happen. Or the mom might possibly already be dead

The anime at least hasn't explained it, but it should of occured by now. Rudy hasn't seen Badigadi (big four armed demonlord) since Rujered left. Also a reminder that it says in the episode (only for a second so its very easy to miss) Geese the monkey guy from when they were doing the beast tribe stuff, he sent the letter and not paul. Also Rudy if he were to try to levearge those connections he has to send aid, that alone would take months to get those out let alone the amount of time it would then take those people to help his dad. Rudy himself is most capable person he knows that he can get in contact with immediately. If Rujerd had stayed though this would been so easy lol

I do think it's worth noting, and Rudy brought it up in the episode too, that Paul didn't send the letter himself. Geese did (Honestly don't really remember who that is). So who knows if Paul actually approves of Rudy coming out there and leaving his family to go help fight his own battle. That could've been sent without his consent. I do think that there is no "right" choice though. As viewers, we can assume listening to the Man-God is the right call because of 4th wall meta knowledge and the fact that he's always been right, but if you're in that situation, it's just tough, especially from a moral and emotional standpoint, and like you guys said, a vague notion of regret that you don't know what that entails. What I *will* say is that I don't think staying means that you *also* need to listen to the Man-God's advice of choosing Linia or Pursena and breaking your vow to be faithful, unless you just want to do that. Like Rudy said, the choice of whether to go or not is one matter, but his advice to "cheat" on Sylphie is another thing entirely. This series does make for some great discussions though. Always enjoy hearing all of your thoughts on it.

The major problem with Rudy making this hard decision is both sides are his family. One is his father, mother, and Roxy. The other his wife, sisters, and unborn baby. It’s already a left is wrong, right is also wrong situations. And we have to applaud Rudy for not thinking about bedding another woman when given a clear choice to him by a God. If this was past Rudy, he’d have jumped on the bandwagon. I may sound heartless here, but there’s only one parent who gave birth to me. I can find another wife, tries for another child if this one was lost (and I did. Lee knows about it but may have forgotten I told him 😁). I can’t find another parent if this one was gone. So if it’s me, I’m going to go and regret. But at least I know I tried my best to save my parents first.

It isn't a big deal but I figured I would say that the anime makes it a lot less obvious but Aisha does have something like a crush on rudeus. Its weird but its nothing new for weird when you know how mushoku operates. When she let her hair down when she first talked to rudeus about being a maid that was more so a sign of showing her "charm" to rudeus. Its a lot more obvious in the original source material. Not a big deal or anything but that is the current dynamic between her and rudeus. Ill let you guys figure out the rest of her intentions on your own lol.

Nah I think I wouldnt be able to sit with my family even if my wife is giving birth. Especially if I had the ability to help. If i had no powers and was just a regular dude I would just sit tight but with Rudy's capabilities, I wouldnt be able to live with myself if something happened and I had the power to save my parents but didnt go. Yes, having a child is very important but Sylphy is in a good area with no danger (so far) and has the most capable maid in the world to look after her plus Ariel's protection. She will almost be guaranteed to be safe during her childbirth. With magic, I doubt she will struggle or have a life threatening carriage. Meanwhile, he knows that his mother is trapped in a dangerous area and they require help. Honestly I wouldnt even have thought about it. Ofc I would talk with everyone first, especially Slyphy and make plans to ensure she will looked after but definitely would go find my parents.

While it might sound like a good idea to send somebody else to Begaritt, there's a couple of reasons why that's probably not feasible. Rudy has no idea where Ruijerd is, probably no idea where Soldat is, and even if he did, he'd have to send a letter to them, hope it reaches them, and there's no telling how long that would take. To ask the Beastfolk cheiftan for help would take a long time too, assuming he would even agree to that. And who in that village is stronger than Paul or Rudy? It's a very difficult situation. I get how you would think it might be a better idea, though.

Rudy has a difficult decision to make and he will have regrets with whatever he chooses. If he goes to help Paul save his mother he will be gone for more than 2 years and will miss the birth of his first child and something bad might happen to Sylphie and his family and he won't be there to protect them. If he stays and something bad happens to Paul and Zenith, like them dying, he will regret not going cause he could've helped. Also, what will people think or what will he think of himself if both his parents needed help and he did nothing.

I dont know on this one lee, i watched this episode and then saw your reaction and i cant think of man god as anything but a shady character, the more we see about man god the more i feel he has an agenda and hearing the conversation after the episode you guys have too much faith on him. Man god have an agenda and in this episode is clear something is off about him, just because he helped before doesnt mean he is good.

If the Man-God really does have Rudy's best interest at heart, why does he come off as such a sleaze? I'm with Director and Adorkable, I'd hire Badigadi, Ruijerd, everyone in Stepped Leader, Thunder Bolt, Roxy, Ghislaine, Eris, and all of the above's friends to rescue his mom. Ask Nanahoshi for the Teleportation Circle, cuz otherwise, she can't experiment while he's gone. If they have to leverage her royal status, so be it.

Ha but wait. Director doesn’t have faith in him. He keeps calling him shady. And i never put weight into his words. If you really think about it. Only Adorkable has faith in him. She’s the only person aggressive on that stance. His words don’t really factor into my judgment. I just care that they need help for Zenith if you think about the individual arugments. I did a lot of listening and smiling. When i spoke i got interrupted a few times hahaha. But final thing to note. Adorkable generally supports the idea of listening to the authority figure. It’s consistent in every show. Shes also the only one who goes to church. Lol. And she is rather obedient. So thats a personality thing of hers.

The thing is that we don't know if the Man-God advice has been leading Rudy on the best path either. For example, if Rudy didn't listen to the Man-God when he got his Future Eyesight, he would have met with Roxy. Roxy would've told him about his mother and might have made it so he got home faster. He didn't need to fight with Paul or Norn. So the Man-God fixing his relationship with Norn, when he was the one that got them on bad terms to begin with.

Yea. I feel that. Even at the end I I question what it means to “have regret”. I don’t factor any of the information the man God says at all as a basis to make a decision. I just want Zenith safe. I think what i do, if i was an OP mage and loved my mother. I would risk it all for her. End of story. But i also have an obligation to my wife and child. So I’m pretty much ignoring the man god’s words . Director is considering the man god words but he knows he’s not trustworthy. And Adorkable Fully trust man God. Lol. It’s like the three Bears

If it takes a year to get to Begaritt, wouldn't that mean the send help letter is a year old? Who knows what could have happened since then. Plus, by the time Rudy gets there, that's now 2 years. The whole rescue operation for Zenith could have already been a success by then, or everyone could be long dead by the time he shows up. Difficult decision, but I'd agree with sending other folks to help out first, and calling in favors
