News, Gacha, etc. (Patreon)

Heya! I've decided to make a little post about how things are going lately, so to not let patreon content-less for too long.

Nothing's too eventful has happened lately, to be honest. Had an ear issue that lasted an entire month give or take, experimented a couple games here and there, so on so forth. The government's assistance money (due to covid) sprinkles in so slowly that I haven't been able to upgrade anything other than decorations for my bedroom so far.

On less unrelated news, I've been working on a sort of gacha\ collectible card game using my characters and koikatsu renders. So far I've rendered about 45 cards, out of at least 150.

The game (if it can even be considered one) will be completely free (in-game currency only recharges through time), but I will supply patrons with special codes to add hidden cards to the draw or whatever it's called, among other things. 

Drawing specific cards will net you some special illustrations on the game's gallery, related to those cards. Higher rarity cards are (as the term implies) rarer to draw, but you can also fuse repeat cards of lower rarities to get them, as a form of lessening the inherent frustration that comes with collectible card games.

Besides the whole collection aspect, I'll admit there's not much else, so this is something you'll play for like, 30 minutes a day (unless you like virtual gambling, because there's a slot machine to try your luck with). I'll see if I can come up with something more engaging besides the card collecting \ gallery unlocking.

As a last note, I'm looking into doing small-scale koikatsu commissions, as I've done one to a friend recently and it came out great (in his own words) and seems his girlfriend might want one next month too. Since I'm not doing anything that requires true talent (i.e. drawing), I might not charge much, but it'll depend on currency exchange rates. I'll keep y'all informed if I do go further with this idea.
