Plans for 2018 (Patreon)

As most of you know we have a 15 dollar tier that was giving out some merchandise over the past 2 years.  I think it worked out pretty well, but after thinking and polling our supporters, I'm going in a different direction for 2018.

First off, I think that doing merchandise based on the cast has run it's course, so I won't be doing anymore of that.  I will be opening up a cafepress store at some point in time where folks can buy things if they want or don't if they don't.  So look for that something in January.

Secondly - and most importantly - for 2018 I'm going to be running a side comic on how Shai and Amo met.  Sort of a prequel if you will.  It will be more adult themed in nature and will happen before the "canon comic".  Now, the pricing for this will go as follows:

15 Dollar Patreon Tier is going to remain as it is.  I'll remove the quantity limit and essentially those 15 dollar supports will get to see ALL of the Shai and Amo comic regardless of how many I release on a given month.  That tier will also be part of the voting committee as per normal.

Now, for those who don't want to be part of the voting committee or don't want to pay that much a month, I'm going to be creating a new Patreon account soon and will be giving the option for supports to sign up on a 'per page release' basis.  Patreon doesn't allow me to manage multiple projects per account, so I'll have to make a brand new account.  So keep an eye out for that (I'll be sending out info when all is said and done).

In my mind, this is fair.  It gives people the option to continue supporting at the higher tier and not have to worry about paying per release and then it also gives people the option to support if they don't want to pay that higher tier - or even read the new comic without having to deal with any of the other rewards.  If you have any opinions on the matter, please feel free to let me know because I'm always open for suggestions.  

This will be a Patreon ONLY reward as it's way easier to manage.  However, for long time supports (you know who you are) I'll obviously make exceptions.  

Anyways, hope everyone had a great holiday season time.  I'm looking forward to starting this new adventure.  Obviously Druids comic won't change, I'll just have to work harder =)
