Hey guys! Wow... been over two months from last update. Better get a talk on, right? Sorry in advance for the long read.

Going on a bit of a hiatus around this time of the year is nothing new for me, as anyone who's been following me for a long time has likely noticed. I'm not sure what the general reason has been, but this year I just felt like focusing less on art and more on taking care of myself and improving my life. This has included eating healthy food, and consequently also losing weight (I'm quite overweight, bordering on obese, so this is good, and I hope to keep up the strict diet until summer at least), taking care of little things that I've been putting off for too long (clearing stuff from storage, etc), spending more time with friends (both irl and online), and so on. On the flipside, this has caused me to postpone other things that I should've done sooner, such as this update!

Part of the plan is to soon also update my Patreon page to reflect my situation and goals better. Note that there won't be any significant changes to pledge levels or rewards or the like, and my overall art production will remain the same it's been the past years. However, currently my Patreon introduction may give off the impression that I need extra money, and that large amounts of pledges could affect my art production noticeably, but this is kinda false. No matter how much money is thrown my way, I have limited amount of time and drive to do this stuff. It is highly unlikely that this would ever become a full-time job for me, for a lot of reasons. Don't see this as me saying the pledges are pointless though. Without them, over half of my art from the past three to four years wouldn't exist, and the pledges are proof for me that people really appreciate what I do. If half of you would right now drop your pledge, that would definitely affect my motivation. And it's not like the extra money from pledges goes unused. My PayPal account is usually empty by the end of the month.

Basically, what I'm trying to say is that I want my Patreon intro to reflect the above facts. That this is basically a sort of tip jar, with the added bonus of getting to sometimes see some exclusive content for those who drop in a coin or two. That's all it really is right now.

Now, with those things out of the way, let's talk about art!

Firstly, for about two months since the last update, I didn't draw anything. Not a doodle, sketch or anything. However, about two weeks back I finally managed to doodle something. Considering the long break, it's nothing too great, but I might throw it in the exclusive archive at some point.

As for further art plans, nothing concrete in mind, but either I continue finishing off old stuff, or possibly start a new series. One prospect I've had in mind are the girls from Go-toubun no Hanayome, also known as Quintessential Quintuplets. Love me some big-boob redheads. ;)

Well then, I think I covered everything essential. Here's hoping the next update will be soon and comes with ART!

It's good to hear that you've been focusing on your life, especially your health! Looking forward to seeing Umi, and the Quintuplets seem popular at the moment, so they sound good. (or Kaguya and Chika from Kaguya Sama: Love is War). Concerning the payments, while I'm not sure of the reason for processing the payments early, I don't really mind if it's only within a week before the art is finished

The early pledge charge would be solely for new patrons who haven't had a chance to get their first pledge processed yet, and who'd otherwise have to wait until the end of next month for their next chance at exclusive content access, since payments are processed at the end of a month, and I haven't published any art this month.

Good to see an update! I wouldn't mind charging pledges before the work is finished, if it adds a lot of convenience for you and new patrons.
