my theory is that ayanokoji could be the one spreading the rumors bc back at the end of season 1 where he was talking with ryuen, ayanokoji spoke about wanting to get kushida kicked out. so when it all comes full circle, they can be like here's her past of doing this kind of thing and ayanokoji plays hero or gives all the credit to hoirkita which in turn could boost her to be part of the student council. OR kushida is just dumb af and is blatantly repeating history for herself until she ultimately gets kicked from school

So a theory a friend and I have is that it's sakayanagi or Ayanokouji, sakayanagi declared war on both Ayanokouji and class B but she's supposed to be focusing on class B. Which is why we're more leaning towards Ayanokouji, it's unlikely to be kushida because she's to smart to randomly do this, she only did it last time because she got caught and panicked so she aired everyone out.
