Woah. A wednesday drop and on ep 7 ?!!! Cant say im not glad. Cherish the memories where “this show is hilarious” comes into mind it will still be but the true potential of this show will now bare its fang.

Hasnain Khan

Yehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Lamaree Jackson

This episode was when it hit me that all of my favorite shit I was watching around the time was mostly being made by comedy guys. Barry, The Boys, invincible was on the way, Us was out and Nope being teased. Seth Rogen, Bill Hader, and Jordan Peele were killing it. Hell even uncut gems with Adam Sandler

michaelsvlogs 1

god barry is just such a good show

Grimm

well besides that one episode. That episode was pure comedy from start to end.

Jahari Fields

This show is so good at switching the mood

Culdesac Jadoni

Yeah there’s definitely hella funny shit that happens in this show. But I think what makes it my favorite is how much they allow it to fall deeper and deeper into darkness

Metweet .c

Damn, to be honest even though Chris' family is safe because of Barry killing him. his wife and particularly his child are fucked for life. Its a mind fuck to think your parental figure is happy then all of a sudden find out they were so unhappy they took themselves out. I cried so much thinking about the fall out for his family with the way that hit so close to home

PJ Rivera

Acting like a bad actor must be incredibly difficult to do well.

Grimm

Chris family still would've been safe with him alive if he just kept quiet. But he had too much guilt for killing someone.

Oni Legend

Man this episode has been the one I’ve been waiting for since you guys mentioned being interested in watching it. One of the best scenes in the show thats just so tragic and well done. Chris’s frenzy, Barry’s exhaustion, and just the build up of tension to the switch whenever Chris mentions he didn’t tell his wife where he was going and Barry’s face lights up at realizing what he might have to do. Then you get the scene after where for a usually apathetic person, Barry is actually like torn the fuck up about it and doesn’t know how to handle the guilt Like can you imagine for Chris’s wife, he leaves to go hang out with some friends, comes back obviously not ok, says he’s going out, and then next thing you know you find out he killed himself out in the middle of nowhere? The absolute shock, guilt, sadness, whatever at that moment is just heartbreaking. Highkey reminds of me of another very similar situation in Better Call Saul iykyk

earthphoenix7068

Marines usually come to a reunion to enjoy some Crayola on Saturdays.

PetersThimble

I’m on Chris’ side bc everything was Barry’s fault. Barry was being dumb with the way he went about going after his aspirations. If he never let that Marine live then Chris wouldn’t have been in that mess in the first place. I think we need to have a bit more empathy for Chris bc that was his first kill. Ofc he’d want to take the simple way out which would be to go to the police so he’d be at the very least be able to see his wife and kids again.

Fizzy

@Grimm stop being naive lol Chris's family wasn't ever gonna be safe because one he knows and has seen too much and two Chris was in a panic state he tried to call the cops on a cartel gang when they were that initiated the hit.

Douglas Kelley

😂 Seth Rogen?! Really? He didn’t write any of The Boys or Invincible. His name is just attached to the shows to make money.

Fizzy

So you will have empathy for a dude that went on a hit bare in mind he never killed anyone and when Barry specifically told him multiple times to get out he decided to stay in the car cause it was 'fun' Why are you treating him like a toddler he is a grown ass man who didn't listen to basic reason he is at fault and should have left when he had the chance. His not killing someone before should tell you he wasn't built for it.

Oni Legend

Bear in mind Chris thought that it really was just a some fucking prank on some dudes and that he was just hanging out with the musclehead army bros. Is he still a lil stupid for staying with them despite him seeing homeboy accidentally shoot his gun? Hell yeah but its pretty damn realistic for him to be that naive and dense to the situation

Psi47

Kozmo

To be fair to them up until this point the show makes light of murdering people, so to audience it is fair to align with Barry. Not to mention, they assumed Chris was just like the other two marines until he revealed his true job in the military. Their main issue was that he was naive, how can Chris believe murdering is bad, but then on the other hand agree to get into a car with your friends that have loaded weapons in a ploy to go "scare someone". And he was given huge hint by Barry to leave and didn't take it. Its not insane to react the way they reacted to this episode at all.

DannyA

This show does such a clever thing having the acting class break Barry's barriers down and make him feel his feelings. Then all the traumatic shit that happens to him actually hits him harder than he knows how to handle, but that also is exactly what he needs as an actor, so he gets better. This show's crazy.

DannyA

Yeah 100%. He thought they were going to go scare some people, ended up in a massacre, and then clearly was freaking out from post traumatic stress.

phantomzxro1

While I agree there is some empathy for Chris because he is a good person and didn't sign up for this. I don't fully get the freak out aside from not being cut out in harming anyone. Mainly because it was a kill or be killed moment and those dudes wasn't innocent people, but drug cartel. So I don't know if I would be broken up about it. Shock and trauma sure but those were bad guys trying to kill you.

Gwyn

I've been waiting for this one. I actually dropped the show years ago cause I thought I had signed up for a funny comedy about a hit man being an actor, not... this. Now I can finally see where the story goes. Lol.

Roxy Rezerina

What is wrong with him?? He just killed a man

PetersThimble

They thought they were just gonna go scare some ppl………….not do a raid. I’m treating him like a flawed character who got in over his head

RowdyCloudy

That whole Gene and Barry scene had me like 😟😔😳😧 *incoming Gene* 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Kisuke01

Shout out to all the ppl who recommended this show cause wtf this is probably my favorite episode so far so much shit happened in those 30 mins

bleach

Everything from here on out goes to shit

metronxtdoorr

THIS is cinema. i’m so glad they’re watching this show.

General Grevious

This is why I wanted Barry to be recommended, thank y’all😂

Carlos

God I can't wait for Ronny/lily

Jbnicolo

I’ve never known many actors by name but ever since I was young Bill Hader stood out to me. Astonishing how far his range is.

Delinda Arts

And now....BARRY begins

Wrëck

Killing chris was the best thing barry has done in awhile.

Gmac paddiewac

time jump next week. don't freak out

Matt

Welp hope y’all ready cause shit only goes up from here, you know a show is good when lupa says his stomach hurts 💀😭

CACTUSJEET

My guys had 0 sympathy for chris 😂

Fizzy

Man, i love the show so much I had to binge the rest of the season myself.

Lamaree Jackson

Y’all just watched them support Franklin Saint’s main character actions for six seasons, and thought they were gonna feel bad for Chris??

Teddy McDonald

I think Chris was too busy wrestling with his conscience to consider that Barry might off him. He just got shot at & crashed, killed someone for the first time, and found out his friend was a hitman in like half a day, give him some slack.

DsWorldd •

Ong, like 2 episodes ago I couldn’t wait and I’m Alr halfway through S2 of this and The Bear, these shows fire😭

Gwyn

Gene steals every scene he is in. "We could bring it in just under 37 minutes" 🤣

Garion pope

Barry did what he had to do, Chris should have just shut up.

luna

LITERALLY ME done with season 4 and cant wait for their reaction next ep

Karabo

The finale is so good

Erica Collins

I'm ngl I don't feel that bad for Barry because most of this is his fault and as heavy as the scene was Chris had me laughing when he asked why he would friend him on Facebook because as a hitman why tf would you create a Facebook, friend him, and then hang out with him?? That right there was already putting him and his family in danger. He also should've just killed Taylor. It was so obvious that linking him up with Fughes was never gonna work but then again Chris should've gotten out of the mf car 😭

Clinton Vance

Barry, for his line, did what my acting coach always told me: be where you are. He let himself express the truth of what he was feeling. Also, it’s been awhile since I’ve seen this episode, totally forgot they put Puck—a character from A Midsummer Night’s Dream—in Macbeth for some reason 🤓

keandre deas

Because bro had no common sense he found out his friend is a hitman and he just killed someone and his first instinct is to go to the cops he's literally an idiot🤣🤣🤣

Kumi Chan

i think he already knew he was a hitman before , during the party

Kumi Chan

If I’m in a car with 2 dudes wearing full military gear, talking about going to scare some dudes, i am not staying in car, I think its just common sense.

Douglas Kelley

I am not sure about The Boys but we still would have Invincible but that is not what we are talking about. The only thing Seth has “created” that could be related is Preacher and that was based off a comic he didn’t write.

Douglas Kelley

All I am saying is Seth Rogen may have invested his money but he didn’t write or direct either of those shows.

Jesus Perez

When Barry tries to be good he gets fucked for it. Him being cold and psycopathic kept him safe. Being a good person keeps backfiring on him.

Christian Owusu

I do hope they become a bit more critical of Barry they keep seeing things from his view like it makes sense or it’s the right thing to do. The show is trying to show you he’s terrible and the shit Chris was saying was right

soul keeper

I see that but wasn’t dude built to be heartless? I get he’s definitely no good guy, more like misguided monster.

Art of Trolling

No Lupa on Saturday we get drunk as fuck and do stupid shit in the barracks.

Nareenio

That car scene with Chris and Barry is supposed to show you how emotionally fucked Barry actually is. Chris actually is the more normal person in this case as he isn't used to killing people at all and that weighs on him. But Barry on the other hand is used to it making him lack any sense of negative emotion to death incept for guilt. Do not make Barry out to be a normal person, he's calm and collected not because he's smart, but in order to kill as a profession you must kill any emotion you may have towards the notion of killing as a result. Therefore making him emotionally stunted as a person.

rickie woodson

my phone is always on mute and im not a hitman. just saying. #fixyolife #dobetter #THINK

rickie woodson

i assume the books are different cause everyone is doing different shakespeare plays not just macbeth

rickie woodson

no sir YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOU suck. puck is AWESOME! GOAT of shakespearean characters. ugh

em

absolutely, barry didnt even have an emotional reaction until he realized he had the perfect opportunity to kill his friend

Max maxwell

he also directed the show btw

Leo

I'm honestly surprised Barry is still there like bro there's other acting classes in different cities try New York for one. I do feel bad for Chris but he was a legitimate fool you know your "buddy" is a hitman and you tell him you're going to the cops I definitely would have done what Barry did. Sidenote never had babka before but noho hank made me want to try one this man is actually big chilling.

Chuk it

this show did not recieve a single emmy or golden globe award... crazy

Ranginald Vagel

Barry's ol' "I'm not gonna kill a Marine" bullshit faded fast once it was his ass on the line

naya

And awayyyy we go

JT

It’s because there were shows that were slightly better like the bear

Oliver

Of course basic survival instinct all this time he was in control now suddenly he loses it and the option is clear

PolarToni

bullshit? faded fast? did you miss the last minutes of the show where he was in absolute turmoil?

Ranginald Vagel

Feel free to judge the character by his intentions, I'm just going to keep using his actions

Alex

The bear didn't come out until 2022, Barry started in 2018 and ran until 2023...

Champion Bescos

The Bear is really great, but ain’t no way would I put it above Barry, even if they did come out at the same time (which they didn’t).

Mollywopper

Already said this two eps ago but im glad I hung on. I was about to drop this cuz it was boring af but these last two episodes were peak I fear.

Josh Mr.Fire

your pfp made me watch sausage party cuz I neevr watched it since it seemed too much for me at the time, but then I got reminded of it by you

Mollywopper

I sincerely apologize lmaooo. Saw that movie once when I was like 16. Never again. The gif is way too funny though.

Tay

nah chris was right about the facebook thing it was wildly stupid for barry to even allow that girl to make him a facebook for a million different reasons. even dumber for barry to reach out to him knowing what he does for a living

Tay

just watched the season finale lmao chris was dead on

Davante Adkins

That was the start of it, but hit not listening about getting out the car when Barry even tried to push him out was on him, I say 50/50

Tay

yeah but he had no idea what was going on. I probably wouldn't just hop out either if you don't explain why, and everyone in the car knew what the plan was except Chris. all Barry had to do was keep it 100 or atleast tell a convincing lie. he tried to push him out a moving vehicle with no context then gave up

Indifferent Denji

when she said "this money will go to the fight against violence" I pictured her ass taking that shit to make a batsuit and hit the streets

lyssa

I don’t even know what to say

Jeremiah Wagner

My man got in a car with people decked out in military gear with actual guns. What did he think was going on?

Tay

He literally said that he thought they were going to scare some guys that were picking on Barry. Taylor undersold it clearly he thought the weapons were for show he didn’t think they’d be shooting them

Zerryy

No one actually said Barry was a hitman, if you rewatch it Taylor lied to Chris about what was going on and Barry made no attempt to explain before hand and just said "Get out the car". At the end of the day, Barry is a terrible person and Chris was 100% in the right murder is murder.
