Roshi always filling us up with his glorious and elite reactions, thank you my melanin king

foladara ayeni

Is this gonna be 12 eps or 24?

Eric Stormbringer

Every single episode hits you in the feels in a different way. True masterclass in storytelling.

Kingmakaii

Using dead bodies as markers is wild not even finna lie 😭

Oni Legend

I think the thing that Frieren(the show) does that i REALLY like that I personally don’t feel too many shows can pull off consistently is that it does an amazing job at developing almost every character we get to meet to some level and kind of get to see them interact and affect each other. Like we’re still exploring characters that have died and passed on or that we’ll probably never see again. It treats everyone’s characters with weight and grace The best way to put it is that Frieren(the character) is almost like a vehicle for us to see the intricacies of human connection and living across such a brief lifespan and throughout time and history And Idk why but homeboy having the line of “maybe my child will be a mage someday” really got my ass emotional This show is actually peak fr

Dragonfire

it´s 28 episodes all together, but i think the first 4 are counted as 1

SoggySoup

Similiar to what happens on Mount Everest. (Edit: Oh, Im dumb as hell)

Hasnain Khan

Yehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Itanna

I’m almost certain that was Toji’s voice actor

Devin B

I mean if you see a dead body wouldn't that indicate to you not to press any further

Jarren Jenkins

Kraft said Frieren is young compared to him, that's nuts. Dude has to be a few thousand years old by now

Kingmakaii

Tbh it depends my ego be having me like he not me bro I can make it 😭

Sixaxis112

In about ten minutes Kraft became one of my favorite characters.

SoggySoup

The best way I can describe it is it feels like a D&D campaign in the best way possible.

NecDW4

Lupa: "Blizzards are wild to walk in... did that once." Me who spent almost 15 years walking to work in Michigan winter. "LUL CASUL"

YaBoyNetero

aka Dio, aka Admiral Aokiji, aka Zeke Jaeger, aka Excalibur, aka Roswaal, aka Adam Blade, aka Bobobo, aka Ozymandias, aka Luke Valentine, aka Sister and so many more. We know lmao.

Merfhew

Natsume's Book of Friends is quite similar in that regard. I appreciate storytelling that makes me feel for, and care about, the characters (no matter how big or small their role in the narrative).

Chance Lee

What's crazy is people do this in real life. Like Mt. Everest Edit: and i'm even dumber

Mubarez Ahmad

Bro all their Names are so funny to me. Japanese people love using German words for so reason lol

Godrick

Fun fact about those bodies on Everest... theres so many they actually use them as waypoints. If you try to climb the mountain they may say "take a left at green boots" and youll see a dead body with green boots poking out of a tarp. It's wild.

2023-11-24 23:12:47 Theoretically speaking if those bodies on Everest are preserved well enough you could definitely clap some cheeks. Like who would know but you and God, and all you'd have to do was insulate you peen against a frost laden coochie

Northen Canada, every winter is like that, 6-7 months. The crazy thing is where I'm at, ain't all that bad, there are places a lot further north with less civilization. They have REAL winter.

Daryl Hudson

She wasn't the only mage. Bro with green hair was a mage as well

These Plums

Aye if putting me in bed with a shirtless nigga saves my life then it is what it is.

Julian Gaison

Blood blockade battlefront Anime please

wyggles

Eh, Mages and Priests are distinctly different classes. That's why Heiter couldn't teach Fern to be a mage, he doesn't have the right knowledge.

godUsoland

It's a nice touch that in every scene where it shows Kraft & the party eating, more and more of them start to pray. By the end, even Frieren is praying before she eats.

godUsoland

Shame we didn't get to hear the Mt. Everest Discussion!

NovaVortex

Oh sweet the winter is coming episode 🤡

Gate

Its wild. Kraft probably saved the world in his time, but its so long no one remembers. Frieren is like PS5, and Kraft saved the world in the Nintendo 8bit days, and Kraft doesn't even care about the demon lord that got defeated. He probably defeated an evil god. and probably actually did meet the goddess of creation.

Gilthwixt

This man could pull a frost bitten fish fillet out of the freezer and get freezer burn on his junk if he were down bad enough lmfao

Finnishdoggo

How about you guys watch the movie about Mount Everest?

Nick Whatever

yall gotta watch terror in resonance

lyssa

Is that my boy DIO

JsnSkg

Elven homies be like, "Aight, it was cool hanging out. See you in a few centuries!" "Yup, same time same place?" "Sounds good!"

I'm excited for the X3ma edits once this goes on Youtube because some of the things mentioned in this ep were wild lmao Also yes, unfortunately the bodies of most people who died climbing Everest (and similar mountains) are left up there because it's way too dangerous to retrieve them, with some being used as markers for later climbers

Skin-to-skin contact is a sure way to help somebody with hypothermia. It is still highly advised when an electric blanket is unavailable. Not only did Kraft save Stark's life, but by using his body he also risked his own well-being. He could have become hypothermic himself.

Aziouss

Have you seen Kraft? Adonis bodies like that don't suffer hypothermia!

Ghost_Troupe

Pretty much. Like Frieren said, the last time the goddess of creation appeared was during the age of myths.

Takeshi Kovacs

Honestly would have loved to hear them talk about Mount Everest

BrakerFluidAddict

Well he said that he didn't believe in her until later in his life, and he only started believing in her because he needed to. Not necessarily because he saw proof. So he probably didn't meet her, or at the very least met her but didn't know it was her.

BrakerFluidAddict

If you told me he was going to be Toji's VA before season 2 started coming out, I would've thought that to be a poor choice. Now I can't imagine anyone being a better fit.

yaz

isn't it crazy how we've had two jjk voice actors in this show, sukuna and toji

Leo

What do ya'll mean Kraft and his 24 pack was putting in work to save Stark just because some R&B music was playing in the background with fire don't mean nothing. Respect for this man also what the hell happened on the train did I miss something 🤣?

Wolf

Wow, didn’t notice that on my first or second watch. Pretty cool detail👌🏾

Wolf

Lol i was literally thinking that in my head, definitely a discussion I would’ve liked to be involved in

Nathan Elkin

the fact yall can have a stupid debate over a banger song astonishes me

Giyuu

LMFAOOOOOOO this the first time I’ve ever see yall pause you niggas funny af 😂😂😂😂

CAM

The crazy thing is people that die going up Mount Everest only died because they didn’t want to take the already safe route that they have since they want to “challenge” themselves 🙃

xdjdjsdfgx

Something that seems to be the case from this episode's dialogue is that I believe Heiter taught Fern to suppress her mana and not Frieren. Heiter mentioned that Frieren should tell him the story of how she came to start suppressing her mana because it might come in handy if his kid ever became a mage. On top of this when Frieren first met Fern she was surprised when Fern launched such a massive zoltraak at the stone Fern was trying to hit, If Frieren could already sense the amount of mana Fern had I doubt Frieren would be surprised, and Frieren also mentioned several times that Fern is the same type of mage as Frieren which would make sense if Frieren could tell Fern has been suppressing her mana. Also, the vampires couldn't tell Fern was suppressing her mana similar to Frieren which Frieren is only able to do because she has been doing it for so long, the earlier Fern started in her life suppressing her mana the more believable it is that she is at Frieren's level in that department.

rayman

Frieren had a hard time even detecting Fern when they first met. She could barely detect her mana at all. Fern mastered suppressing her mana before her and Frieren even met, Heiter is definitely the one who taught her that.

rayman

surprised yall didn't recognize Kraft's VA, Zeke Jaeger himself
