Mr. 7 and Zoro DID happen we just didnt see it. I think in Little Garden Mr. 3 brings up how they tried to recruit zoro by force and he killed an operative.

The Mr. 7 thing is canon and was mentioned in the SBS Manga corner. Zoro mentions in the manga when they first met Baroque Work that he was invited once by Mr. 7, but he said no and killed him.

The actor playing the swordsman Zoro, is the son of legendary famous martial artist and actor, Sonny Chiba whom you may also remember from Kill Bill vol.1 as the man who gives Uma Thurman the sword she uses in the film. And yes it’s him doing his own fighting and most of the stunt work cause he trains in martial arts in real life as well like his father. And Mackenyu (Zoro) is also a very popular actor in Japan mostly known in many live action adaptations animes that are pretty successful like Rurouni Kenshin: The Final as Enishi

Cool thing is that while the Mr 7 v Zoro scene didnt happen in the manga or anime, it WAS part of the lore that Zoro killed the old Mr 7 on Sixis Island when Baroque Works tried to recruit him. So its really cool they actually made that a scene!

the Mr.7 stuff was off screen. Zoro offhandedly mentioned Baroque works attempted to recruit him during that arc. It's pretty cool they showed it in the Live action, gives more foreshadowing and Oda approved it so it's all good

In the anime Zoro actually mentions meeting #7 in later episodes and hits at having killed him but you never see it, so it’s pretty dope they actually show it

This rumor that Crocodile was a woman came up around the paramount war which revealed that Ivankov had history with Crocodile. But as the manga has revealed that Ivankov has had history with whole bunch of characters that aren't gender bent. People have been asking Oda this question for nearly 10 years now but he keeps saying that he isn't going to reveal Crocodiles past until the next arc he shows up in.
