Amazing episode. Loved how they handled Rudy's struggles. The maturity in conversation between Sylphy and Rudy, sharing all the things now that they both know who each other is. As well, the emotional moments hit for Rudy, and I really felt bad for dude a lot more than before. And even without Rudy's inner monologue from the LN's, everything that needs to be clear is clear. Dang. As a LN reader, I was team Eris, but this is making me team Sylphy. She was WAY too cute at the end

Us Eris fans took an L with this ep but I am happy for Rudy though he's been through it. S2 part 2 releases in spring 2024 (April)

For more context, Rudy notes that books generally go for ~1 Asuran gold coin (with the more expensive books costing up to 10, for example dictionaries) and Paul and Zenith were considered semi-nobles since they were well enough off that they could afford 3 whole books (which Rudy read as a child - one among them being the magic spellbook). Later on Zenith then gifted him a botanical encyclopedia for his 5th birthday (of which Rudy later on finds a volume for sale in Roa for 10 gold coins, bless Zenith for being the best mom). Also Rudy's salary as Eris and Ghislaine's teacher was 2 Asuran silver coins a month... Even Ghislaine with her extremely high pedigree as a Sword King only had a salary of 5 Asuran gold coins a month for being a bodyguard to Eris and teaching her swordplay. TLDR: The aphrodisiac is currently worth 100 miscellaneous books or 10 very valuable dictionaries. Or in other words, with Rudy's former salary of 2 Asuran silver coins per month he would have to work for Eris as her teacher for 41 years and 8 months to afford the aphrodisiac.

it was truly just the trauma behind Eris leaving... He didn't have sex with Sara. The idea behind Sara was that it was too much too soon. Both Sara and Rudy were being childish about everything. It was good writing that they both ended up embarrassing one another and leaving on bad terms because Rudy truly needed some time to mature emotionally, develop other friendships and let himself love again instead of looking at a comrade in battle as someone to just hook up with drunkenly. And I think it's time everyone cut Eris some slack. She was always terrible with words. She didn't know how Rudy would take it as it was her first time too and Rudy really didn't put it together that Eris was essentially being married off against her will. The dichotomy between Eris and Sylphie is great story telling too. Eris used Rudy as first and maybe last time to choose someone to be intimate with while Sylphie let Rudy use her first time to cure his ED. Side note... I feel really gross writing about a man canonically in his mid 40s for most of this... Rudy's still gross. lol

She wasn't even forced into another relationship cause she just completely left that life lol. I get what your saying though. If I had to leave in order to train for the sake of someone I loved and thought I was doing the right thing I would rather sleep with the one I loved before anything else could happen to take that away from me. She was too dumb and hardheaded to properly explain things to rudeus but wanted to make love with him before she completely made her mind up to leave and get stronger. She literally left because she wanted to make sure she never let rudeus go through a near death experience again. She loved him too much for her to allow that to happen again if she could help it. Now she is technically rudy's biggest villain cause of how much she made bro go through. Dude went through more trauma from Eris leaving him than he did with Orsted almost killing him. People are seeing Eris in a bad light when in reality she just loved him too much and was too dumb to properly explain things. Good story writing though. It makes Eris super relevant without ever even showing up for a while.
