his legs are fine — they’ve probably just atrophied a bit with how long he’s been in bed or got a little banged up in the accident, but it’s nothing too serious. besides, if he made even more of a miracle recovery they probably still would’ve kept him inpatient to run more tests because they’d be confused as hell lol.

2023-08-23 09:35:40 Shinbo Akiyuki (Monogatari Series/Yu Yu Hakusho) directing style is so damn peculiar and stylized that even if you don't like it I feel like you gotta respect the commitment and work at least. It's also wild how similar this looks to Monogatari, but also how distinctly different it is from it as well. Like one habit he has is all the weird architecture inside all the buildings where it looks bigger inside than it does from the outside and funky looking furniture... but the stylization of it still feels like it's own universe and not from another anime.

Yea, and usually they don't drop shows either, but the hiatus was too much along with how poor it was doing, tbh, if it wasn't for the delays, they'll probably would've watched until the end before actually dropping the anime to remain consistent

Wow it didn't even know it was back. It really is a shame. I loved the first season and luckily I'm very easy to please when it comes to entertainment. But goddamn season 2 (episodes 1-7 anyway) was just so boring. I might just have to read the source material

So with the reveal of wishes affecting magical girl’s powers, I like to break down a few. Sayaka is obvious, her wish to heal that boy gave her a healing factor stronger than most Magical girls. Usually a wish to heal others gives the girls the ability to heal but Sayaka can only heal herself as, her wish although used for another was really meant for her selfish desire. Mami died in a car accident and wished to live, which tied her life life back to the world. This gave her ribbon magic to constrain her enemies. There’s a few from side material like manga and the game like, wish to win the lottery in turn gains luck power, wish for someone to love me and can control people’s emotions, wish to be someone else and now you can be anyone you choose.
