I think Ah Sam’s gonna take the HOP Wei after young Jun tries to either kill him or starts a beef with him. sum’s gonna go left with his reunited family and he’s gonna kill Li Yong in a rematch and the elders will decide he’s a better choice than Mai ling and he just centralizes all the china town gangs and re purposes them

Part of Young Jin’s issue with Ah Sahm is that Ah Sahm rarely tells him thing. Young Jun learned about his relationship with the printer from amai Ling AND that they were siblings. The sibling reveal hurt his trust but it’s Ah Sahm stepping farther away from him ( from Young Jun’s POV) that’s creating this barrier between them.

im sensing a red wedding season finale and a main character is not making it out. maybe thats why this season is so character driven. instead of one main plot as most mainstream dramas do, this season is multiple mini arcs for several different characters. dont know how i feel about it just yet but it is different. feels.....grown up? dont know how else to discribe it but i feel like the show has slowed down from its chaotic stylish little brother of tarantino and become a full man in this season. its refreshing. from father jun dealing with dimentia, to enemies at least becoming cordial (the tons, leary and ah sahm) im really liking this trajectory of peace times. "peace never lasts" yeah that game of thrones forshadowing is HOT

This episode is definitely one of my favorites because certain relationships are about to come to a head. I love the fact that Ah Sahm and Leary grew this sort of mutual relationship after that ass whopping Ah Sahm gave him🤣🤣🤣 I'm predicting that Ah Sahm will fully embrace his Bruce Lee side and be the hero of Chinatown while running shit by the end of this season. I can see him taking over or go his own path. He probably have to fight Young Jun too in order for him to take over. Last season, he told Ah Toy that he's no one's hero. She replies by saying "That's what a hero would say" and as alot of characters have pointed out, Ah Sahm is more of a leader than Young Jun. He's gonna be a hero who runs shit but his relationship with Young Jun will only get worse from here

I'm ngl I completely understand where Young Jun is coming from. Even though he fucked up in the first place with the chop situation and the fact that they gotta work with Mai Ling, He always tries to put the tong first while Ah Sahm puts his people first. Can't really blame either side but Ah Sahm needs to learn that you can't have your cake and eat it too. At some point he is gonna have to choose between The Hope Wei or the people of Chinatown.

You're tripping if you think Young Jun makes his decisions because he thinks he's big and bad. He's making smart decisions and his complaints/concerns are valid. When you become leader of a tong it's only natural that the first few years you're not making all the perfect decisions. But in this episode Young Jun has been making decent decisions and the show did a pretty good job at showing us his perspective, having more people learn how to print the money is a smart move. Him questioning Ah Sahm is also completely valid because of all the recent BS that has been happening. We're rooting for Ah Sahm because he's the MC and we know most of the reasons why Ah Sahm does what he does, but if you think about it from YJ's perspective, His "best friend" had been lying for so long about their mortal enemy being his SISTER and then Ah Sahm rarely talking things through or letting YJ know about the moves he makes so it looks quite snake-ish.

Even though we all thought and wanted Ah Sahm to be the leader of the Hop Wei but Ah Sahm is better for being the face for the people of Chinatown. I can see Mai Ling no longer high on power and is wanting to have a peacful relationship with the Hop Wei but Young Jun is still on his high horse of power with a splash of mixed high emotions that clouds his actions and jugdement at times when it come to the Hop Wei. He doesn't really care for the people of Chinatown. he only wants to fight and get his blades wet.
