This was a very great episode. I don't care what anybody has to say about it. It's rare to see what happens when the good guys get caught lacking and the bad guys are intelligent and take advantage of it. (At least in American shows) It was sad that almost half of those guys died but I wasn't surprised by it since many Korean show doesn't hold back on this type of stuff. I'm looking forward to your following reactions to the last two episodes.

Only an amateur would be this unprepared in the middle of a war. Mr. Choi was a vet who knew who he was up against. Not hiring extra help was the first mistake, assuming they couldn't be found where they were was another, not having a plan in the case that they are found is the cherry on top. That's just dumb. Juxtapose this to how meticulous and paranoid Gus Fring was against Lalo Salamanca and I rest my case.

I'd like to add a couple of movie recommendations. There are two Korean movies called "The Witch". There's a part one that was released in 2018 and a part two that was released in 2022. I watched a couple of the fights in part one and OMG I'd love to see a duo, or better yet trio, reaction. You like blood, guns, fights, and powers so you'll probably like these.

i saw all the "what????!!!!s" before i watched the episode. dont know what i expected but i didnt expect that. WOW. knew from the jump the chairman wasnt going to make it out of the series but i thought at least our main three would. i mean, woo jin is on the poster and its called bloodhounds (plural) not bloodhound (singular). this joker mofo myounggil has to GO! but im wrecked like yall. what is the point indeed. this is a "i dont see the reason to finish this show im done" kind of moment for me. im on the fence of this direction. on the one hand: its different. cant say i've ever seen anything like this (close would be the beginning of this one kdrama i will NEVER watch again "missing you" from 2012. dont watch for your own mental health). havent felt this emotionally destroyed via television since then. on the other hand, narratively what is the point? there is no hope at all. even if woojin lives and they kill myonggil, so what? what does that really do for the remaining characters? how does it help this loan shark problem? and how does it set right the deaths of that innocent woman and her unborn baby? im at an impasse with the show now. guess ill see how they (try to) salvage this with the finale. no faith.

You're right unfortunately. Choi was so incredibly lax about a lot of shit. First being moving the money. When dude with the glasses showed up at the bookstore with the scammer dude they should have moved the money that night. When the girl told Choi that dude in the glasses showed up Choi even said right then "we need to move the money" and then just didn't for like 3days. There was no logical reason for why they didn't move it that night and waited several days instead. That was the first clue that Choi was just too lax about all of this, he was just so slow to do anything.

In episode 4 Mister Choi says, I am too old for this and indeed he was too old for that, he basically thought the duo Knifers were unkillable but Myeong Gill killed them both by using their own weaknesses against them, we also shouldn’t forget that Myeong gill knew everything about them because he worked for them for a long time. He had too much trust in his Knifers and the boxers, that’s what got him killed. He was heavily underestimating Myeong Gill.
