Cid doesn't really understand shadow garden is a real thing or that he has ownership of it. The whole running gag of the show is he thinks its fake because he himself made it up and they play along with him that's why he stole the money. He even said "wow she put together this nice set for me". Plus yes he did shower them with some of his magical power the scene is pretty confusing I had to read the chapter to understand why they were so happy lmao.

I find it funny that they are trying to frame an organization that only has 1 guy and the rest are women with nothing but male swordsman. That's not because of the mask, his hood hides half of his face which makes it difficult to recognize for others. Shadow Garden members put mask occasionally, but Cid doesn't "need" a mask to hide his identity.

You guys have to remember that Cid still believes that they are just playing along with him. In his mind the cult and shadow garden as an extension don't actually exist he's just living out his power fantasy and they are doing along with it because he saved their lives. So in his mind she earned that money for herself as an independent and was nice enough to build that throne room "set" for him to play in.
