The last line about consent was Yi-seo talking about Saeroyi, as if Soo-ah would be “forcing” it on him (in quotes bc everyone including Yi-seo knows he would’ve kissed her back). She’s just jealous as hell and didn’t want them to kiss lol.

The Slap is kdrama version of Detroit Smash. The conversations they have in this show is literally insane. That's the reason this is one of the very best kdrama out there.

BTW i know its hard to tell what sooh-ahs intentions may be entirely cuz they revealeved that she ddint call the cops and she has this internal conflict of wehther to help saeroyi or side with Jangaa, but she didnt have really have no alterior motive to wanting to kiss him, I guess she just wanted to kiss him cuz shes been feeling so conflicted as to what she should do and does care about him. Yi -seo just broke it up and said the whole 'consent' thing just cuz she wanted to break it up and wouldve probably felt jealous. Also techincally Saeroyi seemed like he was fine with it and wanted to kiss her back too

The stick of tabacky was blurred out because of SK censors. I don't know when they started doing it but the reason I heard was to curb underage smoking. They think seeing ciggies in media is a big influence on the rates of smoking so they blur it out (kind of like people equating seeing Joe Camel to increased rates of smoking).
