If I didn't read the manga for this series I wouldn't have known that Drakon was the green dragon in Magi as well. He wasn't shown much in Magi anyways and I barely remembered him.

2023-03-03 03:40:23 8:05 I was literally thinking Kaiba too, lmao. 8:30 Yea Lupa, when he tried to do that with the sea monster you could see his eyes changing color, but he got scared and the color went away, so he didn't use this power and ended up failing cause he got scared last time. This time his eyes kept that new color when he launched the attack, so the eye-color is either an indication of him using his full power or he has some other kind of ability that does that, but he was not confident in himself before even though he was this strong.

He is relevant in the series but in the part that has been animated, he wasn't there as much. But further down in the series, they bring up their past and his role as Sinbad's general.

You are right, DRAKON is indeed the green dragon from Magi, though you won't get to see his transformation. It appears in the manga.

Thats why I respect Roshi and his reactions. While Lupa is making jokes left and right and only realizing Hinahoho was scared to fight the ocean minster. Roshi is there figuring out which character Drakon is in the original Magi.

All of the 8 generals are members of Sinbad’s household, including Drakon. Drakon turned into a dragon because he assimilated with the djinn, which grants him more power (when he and the other household members turned into giants and blasted the medium in the main series), but also takes away his human characteristics. Sinbad forbade the other household members from assimilating, and Alibaba doesn’t let Morg assimilate either because they respect their household member’s humanity
