Don’t get me wrong I heard great things about the writing and legoshi as a main character , but it didn’t catch my attention enough. I could care less that they are animals. I’m not close minded like that. I enjoyed the first season , but it didn’t impact me as much. It comes down to preferences I suppose. No hate . Jus hoped for oregairu tbh

because its a layered and thoughtful narrative with great character writing and dialogue that people enjoy, also it won the poll. the manga and anime received almost universal praise from industry and fans alike but there will always be the "its not an action series and has furries lame!" type crowd who wont enjoy anything that has anything besides action as the main focus.

there isn't any, people write it off from the get go or because they cant pay attention for more than a few minutes unless there is explosions and screaming dudes. You'll see the same names pop up on any other show that isn't a battle shounen complaining about how boring or stupid it is without explanation.

Roshi I highly recommend switching to the dub for this show. If you have the time you and Sheera should watch this episode dub to see which you prefer. Either version is good though.

@WAY Exactly just wish more people gave it a actual chance or at the very least respected/recognized it's quality regardless of if it fit their tastes. Also to be fair if it actually fit the "furry" stereotypes rather than cultural commentary and animal farm type symbolism I probably would have not liked it.

The Netflix subs are fine, EXCEPT they botch the names of 2 characters. 'Rouis' is accually 'Louis', like the King. The other is the name of the white rabbit. Witch I don't believe her name was revealed this episode so I won't say just yet until next episode. But like others have said, the dub is very good if you prefer that.

It's really weird you say that considering our own world is run by animals and isn't dominated by carnivores. Once you create a social structure, physical strength becomes irrelevant. The carnivores are outnumbered like 100 to 1, how would they be in charge?

I respect that but maybe you would get over it once you get more into the story.. I had the same problem with Mob Psycho, Odd Taxi, Ranking Of Kings... I had to force myself a bit and after a few episodes I couldn't even think about it. It didn't bother me anymore because I was sooo invested in the story and characters. I ended up loving all of these and now the animation style of an anime is never a problem to me.
