You guys can make almost any show entertaining AF because when I finished this series a while back I didn't give two fuck about this show and gave it a 5/10 lol. I love seeing your guy's reactions to this series even if I didn't like the characters or the story all that much. I can't wait to see your reaction to the last episode. I always gotta point this out, cuz it's such a well hidden detail. The Decoys were the same gang of goons that shot up the car and caused the car crash in episode 1. Run back episode 1 and you'll notice the same logo saying "Animals" on the pink car/truck. Which just made me realize Faraday could have put them up to whatever job they were working that day.... DAMN. Theories lol.

In this episode Falco says that the gang in the dessert (the gang name is animals, you can see their logo in their cars) are "classic Faraday shenanigans" meaning they kinda work for him, the thing is, in episode 1, the gang that shoots at David and his mom, are from the same gang, seems to imply that Faraday was responsible of David's mom dying

To be fair it doesn't sound like lag, if that's the case its unfortunate they were lazy with sound effects and didn't make it sound like the words were actually cutting out rather than straight up repeating. Pretty sure any of these net runners could write some code to just not transmit words that are doubled to remove the repeats all together.

Animation, cinematography and overall style was absolutely top notch. But I feel like it's a bit of an oversight if you don't think the pacing got a bit rushed near the latter half. Seem's like the story was written for 12 eps which makes sense for a traditional cour season but got cut down to 10. Two more eps near the middle would've fleshed out a lot more of the characters and it wouldn't have been as a jarring lead into the 2 ep finale (eps 9 and 10). Like for example we know literally nothing about Falco lmao. Seem's like he should've done a job with David or something while the gang was still whole. But yea 5/10 is still pretty low for it lol.

Ethan how can you say that when we also know nothing about Rebecca, Dorio, Pillar and hell throw Kiwi in there too since almost nothing is divulged about them. That's the point. They are mercs and no one cares about their past, and it also is meant to show they have no future either. If you slotted in 2 basically filler episodes to detail more about the characters it would ruin the momentum, in my perspective. We know all we need to know about each character. Falco is the driver, that's all you need to know. I think they made the right call by keeping it very contained, never telling too much and letting the audience make up assumptions, lore, and theories.
