John reaped what he sowed, so him getting that Typewriter express delivery didn't make me feel bad at all. Something else good came out of it, it got Esme's annoying ass off my screen, she conveniently forgot or didn't know all this shit popped off because of her husband's actions for another woman. Also, can Polly get a damn grip? Always nagging, undermining and preaching shit like she's not a part of the family, when shit goes sideways with Michael its always "this family is messed up blah blah blah". Tommy escalated it but John started it. At least Tommy had a "reason"; they killed his wife. John just took Changretta'a son's eye out of some weird possesive shit over a woman he was engaged to for like a week. And when the shit had already hit the fan, John couldn't follow through with taking out Mrs. Changretta because he had a soft spot for her.

Season 2, Arthur was getting actual medical help for his fucked up brain and Tommy decided he couldn't have that, so he threw out his downers, put him on coke, and let him run loose. John is the second youngest and looks up to Tommy, he follows in Tommy's footsteps. Tommy greenlit John's actions with the Changrettas, John acted exactly the way he was taught to by Tommy. The only time he didn't was when he realized Tommy was making rash decisions.

Is it to show that tommy is somehow at fault for what john did? With this type of logic you can go even further back. I guess its not Tommy's fault that the war fucked him up and he had a good for nothing dad. I guess that's the root cause right? Why not even go further back? What JOHN DID, is no ones fault but his OWN. Tommy has fucked up but the SHOW clearly lets u know that and shows you that. BUT the show doesn't do a good job showing anyone else be accountable, just him. John and Polly have fucked up just as bad as tommy or even worse. They reap the benefits with none of the responsibility of being the leader of the family.

@Agro Bro are we watching the same show? Yes, Tommy is the head of the household so all the responsibility is on him. With that being said, their has been many instances where his family still DOESN'T LISTEN. His sister when he told her to stay with them and she didn't, when he told his brothers to kill that one dudes wife, etc. It was LITERALLYS john fault. "While Tommy gets his money, his power, and his dick sucked? Tell me how EVERYONE went to prison at the end of last season EXCEPT Tommy." Also I guess you weren't paying attention to WHY they went to jail. POLLY telling the priest fucked up the future plans. It had a HUGE snowball effect. The guy Tommy was supposed to kill would've died, so Tommy's kid getting adopted wouldn't have happen, his brothers wouldn't have to kill those people at the train station, as well as Micheal killing the priest. THEREFORE they wouldn't have the reasons they did to arrest THE FAMILY. POLLY snitching was the cause for all of that shit. Like I said I don't make excuses for tommy, he's a gray moral character, and the show does a good job showing it. BUT I also don't make excuses for Polly or Jon like you seem to love doing. The show is pretty good, I'm enjoying it, but I hate the fact that they don't mention any other characters accountability.
