Eiji is annoying sometimes,Ash got aim assist and infinite ammo lol

i think they said they'll watch it in theaters (before the movie came out) and they weren't going to react to it bc the video wouldn't be genuine

Devin B

That's how they balance each other out Ash does all the dirty work and Eiji is pretty much there for support

I agree, Eiji keeps Ash mentally stable and the only person who Ash feels most comfortable with now

I don’t know why y’all try with eiji at this point he’s obviously not going anywhere lmao I gave up on that mf going back to Japan many episodes ago 😂

L Jeans

Ik Eiji never going back. Also ps, in the manga they show Ash caries extra ammo around his ankle. they never show it here tho.

AdventHorizons

Basically go back to Japan so you don’t get kidnapped or killed but they can just take a easy ass trip to Japan and kidnap his ass anyways or kill him it don’t really matter at this point 😂

The reason Eiji doesn't want Ash to kill is cause he knows that Ash doesn't want to become a murderer. Ash is basically killing due to circumstances but Eiji knows that Ash just wants to live a normal life. It's easy to cheer Ash on to kill Arthur but only Eiji knows what every kill is doing to Ash's soul, Ash even confided in Eiji that he's becoming afraid of the person he is becoming. It was stupid to call him out during a fight though.

I'm aware of the symbolism with Eiji being here, how Ash would only react to Eiji's name, how Ash only responded to Eiji after the fight and so on, but... Look I get where Eiji is coming from, but my dude HAS to stop screaming Ash's name lol. After the first time when shouting "Ash" literally started a chain of events that got Ash's dad's wife killed (though at that point, you could say that he was still naive to the world Ash lives in), you'd think that the time in which it takes to run/drive towards Ash knowing he's going against someone who wants to murder him, getting out of the car seeing Ash is in a fight for his life, running past the entire crowd to get to the front, before finally an eternity later getting in the perfect position to involuntarily scream "Ash", Eiji would perhaps had even a millisecond of a thought like "I should be careful with this godlike power to get Ash's attention." He's undoubtedly Ash's emotional/mental support and the only one who understands how Ash really feels about all of this, but my god is he anything but physical support when he shouts "Ash" in public lol. I get you don't want him to kill and it's easy as the viewer to say "Well I wouldn't do that", but I don't think distracting him enough to risk him getting killed is a great idea either when this wouldn't be the first time that shouting his name caused a traumatic situation to occur. Eiji's gonna feel even worse if he gets Ash killed from shouting his name, and I think more than anything Ash would NOT want that on Eiji's conscience.

I looked it up and the line about the leopard on Kilimanjaro is actually real

Alex cleveland

bro... why tf this show so sad like wtf lmao. This man Ash is the definition of a trooper bruh. Did not expect this show to be so harsh and emotional.

"You're not a leopard, right Ash?" LINE IS SUPER IMPORTANT RIGHT HERE AND EXPLAINS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF EIJI'S CHARACTER. Look at the names Ash has been called throughout the show -- "Lynx" "Caged Animal" "Wild Beast" "Devil". Names forced onto him by others. From an environment he's forced to survive in. The "cat" naming convention and symbolism ties directly to the wandering Leopard, a beast that's only allowed one path, surviving for the sake of survival in horrid conditions, not knowing if salvation actually exists. Basically showing if Ash accepts his role as given, he'll never be able to stray from this path. He WILL become that "Beast" and his life when just continue to be nothing but violence and suffering. The point of Eiji's character is to remind Ash of who he REALLY is. Not the hardened murderous Devil of NYC, but the boy who loves and misses his brother, who's afraid of pumpkins and cries when he thinks of his past trauma. Eiji is an anchor for Ash's humanity, and the ONLY person alive now who can stop Ash from completely turning his back on it. Which is WHY he feels obligated to stay. Because without him, the "true" Ash will literally cease to exist.
