Do they have the bad subtitles or the fixed ones? Since the ones we're seeing is the bad ones yall should know that what was put as "Theocracy" should actually be "The Holy Kingdom"

To clarify to you guys, Hilma is part of the Six Fingers. She was the one whose leg was broken by Mare and was dragged by the hair. they are not referring to the slane theocracy they are talking about the holy kingdom the translation japanese to english is just on the nose "holy kingdom" means theocracy, the holy kingdom is a separate kingdom dealt with during the time skip which will be in the Overlord Movie they jumped 2 Volumes ahead

Yeah. This show is doing a great job of making Ainz seem like a complete dummy. In Yggdrasil (the game) Ainz was a great tactician/strategist who used tactics and skills/abilities to outmaneuver other players and generally ruin their day. In the LN they show him use lots of tactics and skills in intelligent ways in every big move he makes to make sure he and his people are safe, but the anime has to cut away strategy and preparation to make space for the BIG stuff. There's only 13eps after all.

ya I know the show makes Ainz seem pretty dumb when compared to the smartest beings but when it comes to the average Joe I would say Ainz is pretty damn smart. *IMPORTANT INFORMATION* This episode has a massive mistranslation. Anytime they said the "Theocracy" they actually went the holy kingdom. Remember the the Theocracy is one of the only few factions that opposes Ainz. AND and ENTIRE arc was skipped from episode 7 to 8 so if you're confused about anything that's why. Also the arc that got skipped will be covered in the upcoming movie they just skipped it for the anime bc it's DARK like DARRRKKKK so yeah.

The carrot and stick plan is just like what it sounds. Do something good and you will get the carrot(rewarded). If you do something against ainz or the sorcerer kingdom then you get the stick(punishment). They are using two countries as an example. If you behave like the empire then we good But if you behave like how the kingdom just behaved then u getting punished.

Pyro Phoenix no they are two different kinds of nation. Slane Theocracy first first appeared in season 1 with the Sunlight scripture who Ainz completely wiped out. They are like a religious organization with several Cardinals and a Pope. The Holy Kingdom they talked about is like the Kingdom, but with a queen.

That was a really good point when Roshi connected the King's apology and taking responsibility to what Ainz said earlier in the episode about the one in-charge taking responsibility to protect their subordinates. I haven't watched the next episode yet, but I have to say, I don't think anyone expected the King to do that. We all thought of him as a well-meaning but foolish King, but here he came up with the only real solution that could have saved the Kingdom without war/bloodshed. It makes me think if they were drawing a parallel between the King of the Kingdom and Ainz, the only difference being Ainz having super-loyal and smart subordinates vs the King here not having Loyal and smart subordinates. The Princess is very, very Smart, but Evil... and Gazef was very, very Loyal, but he died... So, even though the Kingdom has a Good King, the King has no one to support him the way Ainz is supported and loved by his subordinates, that is why the Kingdom is failing and has become such a mess. So very interesting.

I don't think princess Reiner and her bro the prince's convo at the beginning wasn't explain to the audience very well. They read a report about the Sacred kingdom was at war with Jaldabath (demiurge) where Ainz actually went to help them and ended up fighting Jaldabath and lost then rematched him and won saving a whole country the Sacred kingdom in a war. Now he's sending aid to the sacred kingdom and someone from the Re-Estiz kingdom being phillip robbed it. That's a huge problem. That's like someone robbing the help were sending to Ukraine. The Kingdom's literally fucked up in front of the whole world. Even the Slan Theocracy signed that declaration of war from Ainz recognizing the Kindom is at fault for the disruption of humanitarian aid and they hate Ainz. This episodes dialogue was a lot. It's like a year or more went by between episode 7 & 8. Lupasan said "Yo they put the dragon to wrk fast" is what made me pick up on the fact no One is realizing its been a year or more since the dwarvn kingdom. Time skip happened between episodes

Sebas isn't a floor guardian. He is the head butler in charge of the battle maids. Although I think he was stripped of that position and it was given to Yuri Alpha during that whole deal with the girl Sebas saved in the earlier seasons.

i think someone was saying that the reason the subs kept saying the theocracy was because the movie is going to revolve around the sacred kingdom and they didnt want to reveal / spoil points of the movie but needed to have it as apart of this episode? i think somoene said the chronological order would be season 4 episode 7 > movie > episode 8 and rest of season 4. I did see this mentioned more then once

I had also thought they were deliberately changing the story until they mentioned all the seals on the letter. "Faceless" is 100% a character from the Holy Kingdom and doesn't have any influence until after what will happen in the movie.
