Lupa was sick this week so they couldnt do any shows that he reaction to with them thats why its only shows Lupa not reacting too with them

Time jumps around a lot throughout this series as you know, but given that this episode ended with Hachikuji finding him and telling him about the backpack, which is first mentioned in the first episode of the Tiger arc, it's safe to say that Hanekawa's Tiger stuff, which lasted a number of days has just started at the end of this arc, so Araragi going through whatever led to him showing up all beat up has yet to come.

They said a few times that this episode takes place on August 21st. Tsubasa Tiger started on the 21st and ended on the 24th. Keep an eye on the dates from this point forward, because the story is constantly jumping all over the place.

Hachikuji's relationship with Araragi is my 2nd fav after him and shinobu. Theyre just like bantering besties. The inside jokes, the chaotic teasing and arguing but underneath it all, they are both happy to meet each other even though the situation wasnt as optimal.

As the guy above said, paying attention to the dates is very important because monogatari jumps all over the place in different dates randomly (no idea why the author chose to write this way but its creative) This arc started on August 21st, and Araragi wanted to go back in time for 1 day to August 20th but ended up going back 11 years in the past and in the month of May. He saved Hachikuji, and jumped 11 more years into the future of that world, and in August. While In that world, as you mentioned - He fought hanekawa and died during golden week, shinobu got her powers back and destroyed that world Now hes back to august 21st in his original world line. If your asking what Araragi was doing while hanekawa was fighting the tiger, that event i believe took place shortly before this arc and still hasn't been explained yet. Hope this helps!

Incorrect, that event takes place 2 arcs after this one. Shinobu Time and Shinobu Mail happen after this arc but before the end of Tsusaba Tiger.

It took me a few rewatches to figure out what is happening with the sequence of Oshino's letter that makes it feel so disjointed. The visuals we are seeing in this sequence do match what Oshino is talking about, but they are 3-4 seconds ahead of his monologue. It seems like they storyboarded this sequence out to match the monologue precisely, but then added a couple lines to the beginning and couldn't synch it up properly, despite speeding up his audio and overlapping lines to try to catch up.

Are yall gonna watch Hanamonogatari before Koimonogatari? The story is thematically designed with that in mind, but due to production errors Hana came out after, so most people watch hana after koi. It shouldnt be too problematic to watch airing order if you prefer the simple route, but you will miss out on some subtle storytelling - which I would be curious to see your reaction to.

So far they've been going in the LN release order which would put Hana before Otori. Someone said that Hanas release got screwed up and it released way later than it was supposed to anime wise. This whole watch order shit keep folding my brain 😖.

Man, Hachikuji is my favorite character of this show. She is just so cute, with such a tragic backstory of "Set out alone to find her Mom on Mother's day but died." Brings out all my emotions seeing her smile and have fun, lol.
