I really don't get the whole "just Hyakkimaru" as the sacrifice. These assholes are ignoring that they powered up these demons which were in other parts of the land killing innocent people. They are responsible for way more people's suffering than just Hyakkimaru. Like there is legit no way to justify this complete bullshit. Like how is Hyakki getting his body back "bad" and "making him not human" when what his asshole dad, mom, and brother did and are still doing to him is just glossed over, like they aren't human by moral standards anymore either so what argument are they allowed to make at all?

They keep saying Daigo was prosperous... but we still see Hyakki's dad causing refugees and beuing cruel. Where was the prosperity for them?
