Great reaction and finally... the grand reveal of Kiri/Morpho. So to comment on Lupa's statement of Kiri firing twice. He only shot once. What we see is the railgun producing soooo much energy that its actually powering the city in a pulse/ripple like effect. The literal opposite to what we're used to seeing with railguns or other cannon type weapons in Sci-Fi, where alot of energy is being drained in order to use/fire. You can even tell power is being given to the city when the pulse hits the mid or edge of the scene. Lights from the rooms in buildings light up the windows and the street lights light up the city like its Christmas evening. Another thing to point out about Kiri, the whole "I'll kill you" and why he's so bitter and twisted is because the man went insane(as noted in episode 15). He was hella nuts, killing people in his blood stained Feldreß with a calm smile, which made Frederica scared of him. Not only that but since he saw her cape during the rebellion, he believed that she was dead. Which 100% made him go more insane. And because he's crazy at this point, when he was assimilated by the Legion, his final thoughts/words were "I'll kill you", which is most likely directed at both the Legion and the people who revolted. We also gotta note that the two Shepard's we've actively seen being Rei and Kiri, both were not in the right headspace when they got their brains harvested. Which could explain the more... extreme and twisted emotions they exhibit, maybe the Legion does amplify and warp said emotions. Someone who's read the LN will most likely correct me on this.

Hey I just wanted to give a few details on the morpho from the light novels MORPHO Main armament: 800mm railgun x1 Main armament max range: 400km Main armament barrel velocity: 4000m/s Secondary armaments: 40mm antiair antiground electromagnetic Vulcan cannon x6 Total width: 40.2m Total height: 11.4m Total weight: 1400 tons Cruising speed: 200km/h using old interstate railway tracks. Name is derived from a type of butterfly I can't remember how railguns work but I belive they use electromagnetism to launch each round at incredible speeds, also each round of its main armament weighs 1 ton To prevent ground assault the Morpho has a strike force of heavy tank type Dinosauria at its beck and call. Also the legions call sign for Shin is Baleygr meaning "the one with flaming eyes"
