If you weren't aware the name "Roach" is kind of an ironic reference to the fact that roaches are suppose to be notoriously hard to kill, yet every horse Geralt has seems to die or be left behind somehow. I don't think they highlight this in the show to avoid dealing with PETA types blowing their lid over the idea of a horse dyeing in every encounter.

let me put it this way: you are both right cause you are saying the same thing BUT using different verbage so it seems like you are disagreeing. you are both saying jaskier is the cause of geralt's woes/bad luck and geralt was attacking him in anger cause when you are angry you need someone to blame for your problems and he was the easy target. in reality geralt could take personal responsibility: he could have turned down jaskier's plea for help; he could have beat the snot out of him since he wont just go away or straight up killed him; he could have knocked him out when he ran into him at the river if that would have even happened after getting him out of his life prior to that event. free will exists and geralt at any time could have used his. as for jaskier: he is tied to all these things that have happened to geralt BUT he didnt do it intentionally. admitting someone did something wrong doesnt mean you dont like them or saying they are a bad person, just that they fucked up. in my opinion jaskier is a force for destiny and is the linchpin. a deus ex machina if you will. because of him geralt has his epic song that will live on infamy; he met ciri the chosen one; he met yen, the love of his life. now thy all need to make up, get married and raise ciri as a trouple..............but in reality of the show just chill and have uncle jaskier help them raise ciri.

I don't see what the fuck she did wrong. She ran because her life was in danger. Again, she doesn't have any grasp on her powers yet, and she's not trained in combat. WTF was she supposed to do? Oh, go get the boy? And get herself killed? Do you think she has the strength to run fast while carrying him? Yes, she ran, because that's the SMART thing to do. If she was any kind of trained warrior or mage, that would have been a dick move. But news flash, she's currently just a lost princess. Not sure if you got that memo lmao. Remember that Yennefer magic has limits. When a person uses magic, they're sacrificing their own strength and endurance. Yen has to be careful about when and where to use her abilities which why she brought an "escort" to help her kill the dragon.

Nah I'll defend Ciri for leaving him. The Mousesack imposter dude clearly only cared about Ciri and didn't give a shit about Onyankopon. Running away made it so Mousesack needed to give chase immediately potentially saving buddy's life and/or ensuring he can't use Onyankopon as a hostage or anything.

(No spoilers) By the way Geralt wish is never explained properly in the show but in the books his wish was for his destiny to be somehow tied with Yennefer. The djinn isn’t allowed to kill its master and since their destiny is tied together it decided to leave her instead of killing her. Also a fun fact Yennefer would have lost her fertility as all the potions and magic mages use eventually make them infertile she would have lost her ability to have a child either way. And remember mages created witchers so it would make sense that they could also make themselves age slowly by mages live for very long just like witchers

yennifer said decades had passed since she saw him last. ive heard all sorts of different numbers for the ages but geralts suppose to be in his 60s or 70s and yen is suppost to be like in her 90s or something like that. triss is actually the youngest and shes in her 30's or 40s

In the books Yennefer is like close to 20 years older than Geralt, she's around ~100 and he's like 85, they switched it up in the show so that Yennfer was born in 1192 making her around 70 and instead Geralt was born in 1160 making him around 32 years older than Yennefer and over 100 during the show.

True, the Djinn was his fault, but him wishing and getting tangled up with Yennifer, as well as the whole getting tied to Ceri, are not Jaskier's fault. He didnt make Geralt help the father, and didnt make him choose to claim the law of surprise. Likewise, Jaskier was telling Geralt to leave Yennifer to die and just peace out. If Geralt listened to him then, he wouldnt have to deal with all this heartache (not that that would have been a right choice lol)
