Man I’m so tired at people in general falling for the jokers bs irl. Not a dig at Roshi and the crew but like the non comic fan public. Whenever some form of media does this Joker telling his origin story stuff (minus the Joaquin Phoenix movie) people be ready to throw sympathy at him and kinda forgive and forget until they realize he’s lying. In the White Knight storyline the Joker ended up becoming a good guy and basically did what Bruce should've been doing regarding cutting down crime instead of simply fighting it. Also can we get a vlog or something explaining why Sheera doesn't curse. I've been wondering why for like a year now

Joker is like Batman in terms of Super. His charisma is a problem. The guy didn't defeat Superman or The Entire JLA with his strength but his brains. He's supposed to make you believe him because that's exactly what he's doing to everyone else. It's just in the writing. His Origins stories usually is his favorite stories to tell anyway.

There’s actually a story where Batman and joker “kill each other” then both show up later with no memory of who they were. Bruce knew he was Bruce but forgot the Batman part and had to use a machine to restore his memories and it was like a domino effect, as soon as Bruce remembered “good” joker started remembering who he used to be its a good story

There is a story called "The White Knight" where Joker regains his sanity and fights against batman in a lawful manner because he is more brutal to the point it close to breaking his own code. It's a good read.

Fun little bit of mirroring in the episode. That heartwrenching story that Joker told Harleen, the one that made her feel for him and start falling in love with him? Poison Ivy just told Harley that it was one he took from her actual life, making Harley feel for her.

Batman Ninja movie Joker and Harley lose their memories. Not sure if it’s directly from a comic. It’s a goofy movie but I loved it. It had a Giant ass Batman fighting a Mech Joker in feudal Japan.

Some brought up White Knight, but there's an even older story where Joker thinks he kills Batman so he just packs it in and tries to live a normal life with a new personality called Joeseph Kurr. When he sees news Bats is alive and back, he leaves the woman he's trying to marry to protect her from what he'll turn back into. It's called Batman: Going Sane

Well looks like Joker is definitely NOT JOKER anymore it seems! Also seeing how Harley started as a good doctor I still can't believe she even let Joker corrupt her in the first place. Also Ivy used to be such a people hating psycho but then after Dr. Harleen reached out to her like that she then saved her and became more calm and that was a start for the new saner Ivy. Furthermore some parts of that flashback really were kinda like THE DARK KNIGHT 2008 movie!

If y'all want a good Harley comic recommendation; I've just finished reading Harleen. It's an amazing origin for her, Joker, and some other characters of Batman's Rogues Gallery. It really shows her psychological descent and the Joker's manipulation of her in a believable and sympathetic way. Genuinely my favourite comic I've read thus far

Joker becoming sane has happened twice in the comics to my knowledge, in an elseworld story called the white knight, and in another story which name i cant remember where he believed he killed batman and slowly turned sane, got a job and a girlfriend, but when it turned out batman was alive he slowly turned crazy again, though technically joker isnt actually insane, hes fully aware of everything he does and in some comics hes super sane and knows hes in a comic so nothing actually matters. also, easy way for alot of batman villians to die without batman breaking his code, the people of gotham just need to vote to change their death penalty laws so insanity isnt a complete exemption from it, boom like half his villians have done enough shit to get the death penalty

Yep that was the FORMER Joker alright but just a normal person now since falling into that acid! Also some things that happened in that whole flashback really WAS like the 2008 Dark Knight movie like Batman beating up Joker in the interrogation room and a bomb exploding inside a guy and I say when Ivy saved Harley that was the start of her new saner self as we know her now.
