Yes lol, almost all school-based anime have those clichés for their cultural festival arcs. It never gets old because each anime has their own story to tell and they don't all do the same event (some do a maid café while others do haunted houses or the anime may showcase a different event entirely for example). I enjoy them all

it only seems like tadano isnt socially awkward because the school they go to is for unique, strange or excentric people with weird personalities. Tadano's gimmick is that he is painfully average in a school with these kind of people making his average self unique by comparision.
