Only that certain family had telepathy, the republic used them as the basis for the research to develop the para raid tech using human experimentation of the brain on various different 86. Until finally they created the para raid as you see in the show. Also Shin brother received letters casualty’s in his anguish he lashed out at shin and choked him to death, that’s what shin refers to as the one and only time he died.

This episode particularly gave such huge Psycho Pass vibes (The after-credits scene). Anyways, this is sooooo fucking sad man. Even Psycho Pass twist came near the end, Attack on Titan slowly became depressing from Season to Season, BUT this...... damn. Sad and depressing since the start... I am going to binge this hoping to hit a point where we finally get to see some Hope.......Hopefully.
