Yeah this turned from a show to real life fast. This is a scary close depiction to real life Juvie. There's always a lookout and fights break out all the time behind the guards backs. Robby should've studied Judo and grappling for this guy. He needs to use his force and weight against him. I felt that ass whooping. Nobody is more patient and throw hands faster than a nigga in Juvie. By the time the guards gets back in the room you're laid out and their half way through "To Kill a Mockingbird"

Johnny continues to disappoint Robby and then wonders why he wants nothing to do with him. Miguel already has his own family support system. Robby literally has no one but his mom who's in rehab. He needs to do better bro.

at this point the kids are literally making their own decisions and making their own mistakes we cant blame johhny and daniel for everything they do. and for johhny he wasnt expecting to be asked to stay especially since miguel himself wanted him to leave the last time he was there. it makes sense he coudlnt bring himself to tell the grandma no in that situation most of us would also have stayed for at least the prayer

Last time they were with each other they were on good terms and Robby seemed to be looking forward for the visit. Not showing up just made it worse. All the theorizing at the end of season 2 was that the surgeon would be Ali because her Facebook page noted that she was a doctor. And as tapped into the fandom as these writers are, They leaned right into it and provided the misdirection.

I don't blame him for checking up on Miguel but he already has family and friends to look after him. He could've just went to see Robbie and then go to Miguel afterwards.

This is probably the least controversial season, yet this comment section somehow managed to find controversy in it. The show is pretty clear that Johnny made a fucked up choice here. I've disliked the Robbie character since the episode he was introduced, but that's Johnny's kid whether he likes it or not. Miguel and his family have always been very understanding with Johnny despite how impossibly difficult he is. They would've given him a pass to go see his son. Even if they wouldn't, that's still his son.
