I actually saw this movie a few months before it was released in U.S. theaters. Otakon (anime convention in Washington, DC), had a special advanced screening that summer. People lined up HOURS before the scheduled doors open time... but waiting in that long-ass line was so worth it. I absolutely LOVE Studio Trigger, and PROMARE is essentially their legacy packed into an epic movie. Over-the-top action, references to classic Trigger anime, etc. I've seen the movie several times now, saw it three times in theaters. And with that, ima watch this reaction.

You cant forget the single greatest piece of entertainment Trigger has ever released, Inferno Cop. This is also a must watch and every episode can be enjoyed on Youtube in about 30 mins for the whole series

It's also made by Gainax (Same studio with Evangelion and Gurren Lagann). I'm so happy they watched this. Been my favorite movie since it's first day in theaters. But as much as I get going for the sub first, the dub is actually better for this movie so I'm sad they didn't get to experience Johnny Young Bosch as Lio (among a lot of other FANTASTIC english voicework).
