I don't think there's anything wrong with an anime having it's manga counterpart used as supplemental material (Slime comes to mind). Storytelling should feel complete w/o it though. Feels like something is missing...

It was supposed to be "Class A vs B" -> "My Villain Academia" -> "Endeavor Agency" Now, people know a large part of what happened, just not how. Ruins the tension.

I do agree that people need to read the chapters from the manga but also don't deny the possibility that they are rearranging some scenes in the arc. The redestro introduction can be next episode. The spinner part in the very beginning of the arc can be done later when it focuses on spinner. We don't know how they are going to execute this arc. Just cause it doesn't follow the manga perfectly doesn't mean stuff is automatically cut out.

They could just be rearranging the material. I don't doubt that they may end up cutting a little bit out or don't doubt that it will be censored compared to the manga but its a big possibility that certain scenes may be rearranged but people automatically think that they just skipped over them. I am not saying I know whether or not they will still show those certain scenes but they could very easily just add them on to other portions of the arc. The biggest reason to go to the manga is the fact that the manga is way more gruesome than the anime and it is already showing signs of censorship compared to the manga.

I am a little bit mixed in this. While it does ruin some things it also lines up other things a bit better. It is disappointing because all they had to do was not tease the shigaraki part and not show the league when they showed hawks talking to the people at the head of the army. That would have kept the tension high and not spoiled anything about what happens after MVA in terms of the league of villains. I blame everything on the greedy people who decided to prioritize another movie. They brought in a trash director to replacement the better one cause the better one must have been put on the movie. Overall my biggest problem with the switching of arcs is that they are two "build up arcs". Putting one arc for mainly build up after another is just going to make things feel dragged out. Class A vs B arc was build up for introducing the class B characters since they come into play some later on and it was also to start the build up of deku's new quirks. Next they immediately go into the big build up arc for the war arc which is the endeavor agency arc. The main plot line of the endeavor agency arc is surrounding the build up of the upcoming war and the training of the 3 students while also sprinkling in some very good development with the todoroki family. If they had originally kept the arcs in the right order we wouldn't have had two arcs that mainly focus on building up for what is coming later on be one after the other. It is the biggest problem with this season cause MVA being after the class a vs b arc would have kept the viewers attention because a lot of important and big stuff is going down. That is also why some dumb ignorant people are calling this season just a bunch of filler cause it feels like it since those two arcs are placed together instead of having MVA split them apart.

I'm also sad they cut out Shigarki's flash back to when he was younger. the emotions I felt reading was so dark and disturbed, only to be disappointed it won't be in the show, and many more scenes.

They didn't cut it. The full flashback comes up later on during the climactic fight. This was just the small glimpse into his past that comes before. It was this exact same way in the manga
